Every successful fighter has a bout where the judging was questionable. Alvarez has several. That’s like a big, dark blotch on his legacy. And it’s easy to tell by his angry outbursts that Alvarez is ashamed of that.

Worse, not every successful fighter has a drug bust on his resume which was caught by a surprise pee test his opponent demanded. Alvarez does, and there’s no scrubbing that off his legacy. And that explains Canelo’s seething resentment of GGG -- because Golovkin was the man who outed him.

In a way, it’s good to see Alvarez expressing concern about that legacy. It would be better by far if he came clean and started warning young fighters never to take PEDs, and never work with the mafia side of the boxing business. To borrow from Ronald Reagan, don’t work with the people who bring a duck to a ****fight and then make sure the duck wins. Once that goes on your record, it never washes off, no matter how good you become later on.

So, there won’t be any such “solidifying” of his legacy. All you have to do to know that is just keep reading the comment section on any boxing web site. Win, lose, or draw, Canelo will forever be the guy with an asterisk behind his name, and there’s nobody on Earth to blame for that but himself.

GGG is HBO hypejob. No HBO no GGG. GGG is begging DAZN since HBO Boxing's shutdown in 2019.

Not to mention scorecard favors he’s received.
Back in the days leaving an amazing resume was what it was - you were either elite or not. Nowadays we have the likes of convicted drug cheats (Saul "Canelo" Alvarez) trying to pull the wool over our eyes!

Not true. The way you worded that implies it was a one sided beating, which it wasn't. If it was then Canelo wouldn't have required treatment from a plastic surgeon afterwards would he?

Third fight will be one-sided beating on 40 yo geezer.
Do you want to take this bet? That Canelo fangirl Caxcan already pu$$ied out...

I'll bet you £100 that 168lb version of GGG scores a knockdown over Canelo. You're one of Golovkin's biggest critics so it should be a walk in the park for Canelo right?

I'll arrange to send £100 to you if he doesn't and if he scores the knockdown you send £100 to me.

Put your money where your mouth is.

All you got to do is watch the end of the fight and look at G’s face. Canelo looked pretty typical. How would you know he saw a plastic surgeon. You the surgeon? Or his family? Or close friend?

Your wrong. Anyone who understands boxing could see that the first fight was very competitive. BOTH men Were outstanding. Second fight Canelo got the best of G. 3rd fight I’m not going to watch cause G is too old and will get hurt. I’m not into that. I enjoy a competitive fight unlike most of the d1ck riders in here who have NO LIFE.

Solidify his legacy against a 40 year old??? Yeah, Carnelo will solidify his legacy as a cherry picker! Waiting 4 years to fight GGG, now a 40 year old makes him cruel. Beating up an old man!
