They should have went over to Evander Holyfield and asked him if they could borrow his heart during this fight. Joshua just had no heart once Usyk started fighting him back in round ten. Joshua is going to become a good name and heavyweight gatekeeper for the division.

Fury will have to get through that blown up MW 1st (which he won't)
Maybe Wilder beats him

Aj just didnt have it in him but also didn't respect Garcia enough to let him properly run the camp anyway. This is what happens when you think you know whats bestSzef

Wilder vs Joshua. Clash of the hurt ego's. Doubt Eddie will let AJ anywhere near the bomber. Usyk vs Fury, The battle of the slo mo Joes, Joe "The glacier" Joyce vs Joe "The plodder" Parker. . Andy "Son of Butterbean" Ruiz vs Dillian "Just retire" Whyte. Lots of good fights out there.

Incredible how many people here were calling the last fight “close” afterwards and I could only give Joshua 2 rounds, maybe 3 if being generous with swing rounds.
Now AJ, much to my surprise, makes improvements and was in fact winning the fight after the first three rounds, possibly 3-0, but certainly 2-0, on my card as well as three professional judges and fans on Boxrec, and people are acting like this fight was a drubbing like the last.
I felt like I was all on my own predicting Usyk in the first fight, less so in the second, but AJ surprised me in the second. He tightened up his defense, changed levels, avoided the straight left, ****** the body, caught the jab on the guard, kept his own jab pumping. Usyk got little going in the first half. He kept busy, amateur style but didn’t give AJ any real problems. Based on the known history these two have I have to give AJ credit for ring generalship up until the 10th.

It's hard for Joshua, because Usyk is a 6"3, 221lbs heavyweight who is unorthodoxed and moves around constantly.
Not only that, he changes angles and mixes it all up to make it confusing.

I didn’t see much of anything new with Garcia as trainer. I also didn’t think Garcia was the man for the job. AJ needed someone like Emmanuel Stewart or his protege. Someone who understands the intricacies, pros & cons of being a SUPERheavyweight. AJ NEVER used his advantages. Fury WILL.
Usyk is a great fighter but all he is doing is EXPLOITING what super heavyweights lack. It’s rare a SMALL man is agile, tuff and smart enough to exploit super heavyweights. He did a fine job.Last edited by MONGOOSE66; 08-28-2022, 09:33 AM.hhh1200 likes this.
