Good promoters make future plans for all outcomes. Perhaps this is just Wilder chucking a few digs before they negotiate. Everyone should put their egos to one side and make the fight most people want to see and is 5 years too late. If both Joshua and Wilder want it, this fight should be made.

Alabama clown trying to sell his šhit fight on Hearn's back.
The same šhit was doing clown Ellerbe before Regular Davis' fight.

Pmsl. How desperate are you at saving face for a guy you’ve never met.

Eddie Hearn coming to us after everything is over with my fight and stuff like that, talking about offering a deal,” Wilder explained to ESNews.com. “And my thing was, we’re busy. For me, it was easy to see what was going on. Boxing is solely a business, not a sport…It’s strictly a business. You understand what I’m saying? It’s strictly business. I have a lot of stories. With briefcases being thrown.

“He was trying to contact us for reassurance. All of a sudden you wanted to make a fight because even yourself don’t have confidence in your own fighter that he was going to win. For me he was just trying to make a deal to insure that he can lock something in. But the thing about it, when you lose, that price goes up. You know what I mean? You ain’t gonna get a solid deal, locked in.”
Oh for ****s sake are we really doing this again? its 2022 not 2018.

It shows again that Wilder still doesn't have the balls to fight AJ. This is the second time a serious offer is made to him by AJ's team and he declined again. Wilder’s only good in talking rubbish. Boxing is a global sport with huge money generation capability. Wilder seems to be only interested in the money aspect of the sport that's why he didn't mind fight only b and c level fighters during his reign as wbc champion. He has once again proved to the world that he's ducker.

This is all the action there is in this overrated division, all chatter and fear of going down as second or third. You pay these bums millions for mediocre opponents, why would they want challenges when they know they went as far as they can go?

Let's just wait around for a vacant title and fabricate a phony legacy, that's Wilder and Joshua's plan. Watch them get out of the way when the young hungry lions come to eat.
