A post regarding a boxer should only reflect what you would say to them face to face, alone, in a dark alley at night.

It called underestimating you're opponent. Canelo fycked up he heard the whole world say it was gonna be another easy KO and bought into it. Horrible mistake on his part hopefully next time he decides to spend less time golfing and more time preparing for his opponent. I'm from San Diego and canelo was all over the local news before the Bivol fight doing nothing but golfing. He better realize he ***ed up and correct it.

Delusional Ginger Clen-Carrot Top got his ass beat by an OLD past his prime Mayweather and now tells himself this garbage just so he can sleep at night. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

No matter how many fighters sell their a$$ to this clown he'll never get over the 12-0 whoppin old man Mayweather gave him.

I understand what he's saying and I completely agree. He was on a roll and his fame seemed to have come rather easily due to the way they moved him. He's correct- too much, too soon, is a trap for anybody- especially a 23-yeard old fighter to have dethroned the best fighter in the sport at that time.

We all saw how Andy Ruiz carried himself after he stopped AJ at MSG that Summer. We saw Andy Ruiz for what, about 2-3 weeks after that, then....silence (while he engaged in debauchery and anything unbecoming for a disciplined fighter). He paid for it 6 months later.

I don't think many people knew Canelo's vices or weak points (aside from his stamina in the mid-late rounds) back then, but pulling off that type of upset that early in his career would've probably been a huge mistake.

I'm glad he kept his head and rebuilt- though it wasn't such a huge loss considering who he fought.

This guy is so incredibly deluded whereby he let his success at 168lbs over some very mediocre opposition cloud his view of himself. Yes he is a decent boxer but he is truly not elite while Mayweather was. Even now Mayweather's quick feet and boxing IQ would be too much for Canelo - especially when you consider how slow and heavy his feet are.

This is an illusion - its because of the catchweights, opposition and age of the fighters he fought. Whenever he stepped up he either lost officially or unofficially.

No excuses about Canelo was green, nonsense. He beat Mosley and Austin Trout, and Floyd was at latter part of career. Still was easy. De La Hoya, Castillo and Maidana(1), Pacquiao too, gave him harder fights, much tougher.

But credit to Canelo, has achieved a lot, became undisputed super middleweight champion, and has got millions in the bank. Well deserved.
Clenelo didn't really beat Trout, he was "awarded" the decision, as seen before when he has a tough opponent.

Prime for Prime canelo would be at 160-168 too big too good for Floyd.
Lol, surely you jest! Good one, had me going there, for a minute I thought you were serious.

He wasn’t weight drained like crazy lol he had to weigh in at 152 instead of 54. Then he was allowed to rehydrate to whatever he wanted, which he came in fight night at over 165 lbs. He wasn’t drained, he just couldn’t win lol.
