Don't understand the negative comments. He is basically say that the loss was a blessing in disguise that it made him more dedicated and focused instead of veering to getting lost with such early success and fame.

He learned to take a loss and to get better from there.

Canelo was very green when he faced Floyd who was a well preserved 36 yr. Canelo was also weight drained like crazy for that fight that coupled with Floyd's experience and handling of the officials Canelo never had a chance.

Prime for Prime canelo would be at 160-168 too big too good for Floyd.

How is he better after that fight? He's been very selective to not fight certain styles. He has low stamina and slow feet. The 168 division was and is still for the most part trash. Ducked fighters from 154-160. I get that he's hope for a people that when it comes to sport's it's just soccer and boxing but please due tell about these great improvements.

Bivol has slickness, but not as high level as Floyd was.

No excuses about Canelo was green, nonsense. He beat Mosley and Austin Trout, and Floyd was at latter part of career. Still was easy. De La Hoya, Castillo and Maidana(1), Pacquiao too, gave him harder fights, much tougher.

But credit to Canelo, has achieved a lot, became undisputed super middleweight champion, and has got millions in the bank. Well deserved.
