Despite the loss, this has been the best version of Joshua yet. He actually boxed, changed levels, etc. One or two more and AJ will be at the top again.
Wilder on the other hand, you cannot teach him anything and Wilder was merely proven for what everyone knew, he is a guy who can punch but zero skills. Now that Wilder's chin is cracked.... there is no coming back from that.
AJ has not taken much physical abuse. He was outclassed and outboxed, yes.Comment

Neither. They both can still box but I think the AJ wave is officially dead. He's no longer this bogeyman they tried to market him to be. Wilder on the other hand lost to the best HW of the last 10 or so years. There's no shame in that.
AJ can't be marketed the way he used to be but he can certainly still box if he wants to.
Wilder on the other hand still has the draw, he just has to decide he wants to still box, which he very well can still do. As limited of a boxer that he is, I do not believe any of AJ, Ruiz, Usyk whatever can do to Fury what Wilder did to Fury. Nor endure from Fury what Wilder endured from Fury.
He took Ls but he's only finished if he decides to not box anymore.
Same for AJ.Comment

He went to war with a guy AJ couldn't go to war with. He'd be done in the first round taking the bombs Wilder did, all while not being able to throw bombs at Fury back. His chin and composition is weaker.
Same for Usyk.
He'll box better than Wilder, that's for sure but there's no way he's not getting wrecked by Fury either. The size and power is just too great imo. Fury is that dude.Comment
