    close win by rounds

the knockdown made it certain for Zhang victory. However corruption afoot

in current political climate, China and Russia are down 4 rounds in every fight. The only reason Bivol won that canelo decision was because he rinsed that ginger 12-0

One thing for sure, they can stop with all the "this guy or that guy ducked Hrgovic" bullcrap.

The better guys in division destroy Filip.
The man can’t hook. They were slaps. Can’t believe I let people convince me he was a danger man

That's what I want to know. Prior to this fight the eye test didn't really suggest he was the future of the division. Outclassed opponents who didn't come to win still managed to land cleanly on him. The Hrgovic fan club refused to acknowledge what was plain to see.

His defense has always been suspect and it played out against Zhang yet again. What really caused me concern was his reaction to punches. He would just stop or walk away from his opponent every time he got zapped clean with a punch. He got away with that against Zhang but he will sparked out cold if he pulls that against the top guys of the division.

After the 11th in which Zhang won, I had Hrgovic needing a KD for a draw and a KO for the win. He did nether. Blatant robbery.

I find it funny how people around here wasn't giving him much of a chance before the fight and after the fight they'd rather throw Hrgovic away than give Zhang his credit. Haha typical.

Well he will be fighting for a vacant world title in 2023 at some point. Fury/Usyk (If it happens) for undisputed before all belts become vacant due to Fury/Usyk winner vacating & neither wasting time on a guy who can barely put 12 people in a bingo hall to watch him fight. Fury or Usyk is the man after & everyone else is a pretender. Usyk will retire after the Fury fight or before if Fury chooses to retire or fight Joshua instead but i expect Fury/Usyk to happen. If it doesn’t 4 belts could be available by years end if both hang up the gloves or vacate all titles. An undisputed champion doesn’t need titles. Lewis dumped 2 of his when he won instead of fighting Byrd & John Ruiz. The WBO was not a recognized world title until after Lewis retired.

I should add that I thought Zhang won something like 114-113. I could see it a narrow win the other way. The Chinese fighter's endurance fell off a cliff around Round 7 or so and was really laboring just to stand and throw an occasional punch. Hrgovic didn't really do anything to win that fight so much as Zhang just ran out of gas.

Big **** can crack and he had some sneaky punches, he demonstrated a quality chin as well. I would be more impressed with Zhang if I had confidence he was more than a 6-8 round fighter.

Yes, I can see Hrgovic fighting somebody from IBF list for vacant title. Probably somebody like Bakole should be available. Maybe even Joyce -Parker loser.

Maybe even Fury - Usyk winner, if they ever fight, vacates all the belts.

I can also see a loser from this fight retiring.

Than I can see Joyce - Parker winner go for a vacant WBO title.

Wilder will probably go for WBC title, if he beats Helenius.

Dubois will go for WBA title.

Zhang was better than I thought. He had a chin, and had some skills. Hrgovic was about what I thought he was. His reaction to getting hit clean is alarming. He literally would turn and walk away from the exchange.

That's the second fight where I saw Zhang completely gas with half the fight to go. Tough to get behind a guy who can't really go 10 let alone 12.
