His resume is bad enough that it's never really been proven how he highly he ranks. On the flip side his only losses came against the (until recently retired) best, so it's also unclear how lowly he ranks.

Either way, he's good fun. Unless there's some funny business going on then Helenius v Wilder is an interesting enough fight. Helenius is a solid fighter with heavy hands. I just think he'll be too slow and Wilder will time a big right and end it pretty early. But if Helenius can get behind a jab and send Wilder backwards we might have a fight.

He is a bit like Teo I think. Always going to split opinion but be entertaining. Personalities are important.

If he's allowed again to continue his cherry picking his job is certainly not done but he gather the courage to take real challenges his job might be done pretty soon.

Yes in his home state of Alabama there were grown Men crying at his statue unveiling. Not because of Wilder personally but what he represented for them. Alabama is not only one of the worst educated states in America. It is one of the poorest. Wilder fought from that Poverty and became World champion. I know most of y’all, for some reason, just want to dismiss the accomplishment because it’s not up to YOUR STANDARDS but he will forever be in the history books. They were crying because it gave them HOPE. Not necessarily for them personally but maybe for their children or friends and family. Those tears were of joy.

Now as far as calling him King. Black Men usually call themselves Kings and Black Women Queens.

If we do not who will? We are the only race who is accepted by NO ONE. We do not have a history and the country we were born in despise us and call us derogatory names and stereotype us for the World. So yes to give ourselves pride in our community we call each other King, Queens, God and Sun. God is because all Men were raised in Gods image and Glory and Sun because we are descendants of Kings and Queens and we should always remember to shine like the Sun.

You know it only takes one minute to try to understand someone.

The sad part is people take so much pride in Spewing hatred and ignorance they never even try.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

          PEACE GOD!!!

Excellent post. Respect. As a Soldier who served his entire career with excellent Foundational Black American NCOs, WOs, and COs, that first line is exactly right. And along with that disconnect is willfull judging based on how people were raised and the biases and fears we hold on to through life. I wasn’t raised to fear anyone and definitely do t go through life thinking black folks are out to get me. Respect.

hahaahaha hilarious, there is NO way grown men were crying, let alone infront of their offspring proclaiming this man to be a true king. Wilder is great for the sport man, hilarious too.

I agree. He needs to work on his timing and speed. In addition, we don’t how much that trilogy took out of Wilder. It may have physically ruined him. We just don’t know.

Put that right up there with the “spiked water” and “drunk ref”. And yea the fight was “waved off” in the 11th - with Wilder motionless face first on the canvas. Writer just doesn’t want to say Wilder got ko’d by the Fat Gypsy.
Deontay was only exaggerating. There were no grown men crying in front of their children calling him king

People seem mad that Wilder's coming back, this can only be a good thing for the sport. I think that anger is really anxiety, fanboys getting worried that Wilder will come through and spark their favourites out.

was he “exaggerating” with the “spiked water”, “drunk ref”, “Breland conspiracy”, “loaded gloves”, “heavy costume”, “dented head” “want to see a body in the ring”...goes right along with the absurdity of “grown men crying in front of their children”.
