Boots looks like he is in a different level. Stanionis is a solid fighter and will have his moments, he will simply get hit too much with someone that can adjust and differ the attack. It would be good to see if any of those guys can go into a second gear. What happens if Boots can't get Stanionis out and the pressure keeps coming.

stanionis is your typical lithuianian stiff. people acting like its some tough test so they can fake that they are shocked how easy ennis beats him lol. stanionis had problems with dulorme ffs, who ennis ko'd in 1 round the fight after.... this reminds of when people were hyping up that other guy from Lithuania 'mean machine'.

Stanionis is a solid, good fighter. Ennis is a potentially great fighter. Ennis will certainly get touched up some this fight but he's just too explosive and good for Stanionis. I will say that this fight goes probably 7-9 rounds and Ennis beats the crap out of Stanionis in the middle rounds before stopping him.

90/10 type of fight in favor of Ennis.

The bolded is certainly arguable though. Butaev is probably a better win than any on Ennis' record.
Butaev is far better than anyone on Ennis resume. One thing I notice about Boots that i feel is misleading is that he actually DOES get hit. Lipinets actually stunned him and landed some clean shouts, and he wasnt even throwing much. If no Stanionis I feel Butaev would be the perfect test for Ennis.

I don't even see this fight happening anytime soon. Otherwise, either side would have spread some rumors about it.

Things are going very slow in this sport even when fighters are available and in the same stable. Can't even rely on the media to find out what's going on.

Stanionis would be a huge step up for Boots. Boots fought bums only so far.

Stanionis is tought but Boots looks to be special. He'd have to be favored.

Let's find out for sure in the ring, though.

Stanionis is actually not slow, maybe even faster than Boots.

And for the record - Stanionis himself told on the different Lithuanian podcasts that his team tried to get a fight with Boots TWICE, but they did not received any feedback from Boots team. Stanionis wanted fight Boots before he fought Deloch and after the Deloch fight.

Now, when Stanionis have the regular belt Boots screaming " dont duck me", so its kind of funny to me.
Stan is in better possition rn, cause his team made better job picking fights for him, that why he have regular belt and shot at Spence.

If I was him I will try to fight Spence first, if no Spence than Thurman and then Vergil. Stan and Boots would be bigger fight when they both have belts.

For now I think best fight for Boots would be Butaev so we can see how he looks vs strong strong welterweight.
Faster than Boots? 50-50 fight? Hahaha ok.

Its more the quality of the shots, the poise and delivery with real power, its that snap that he displays is the snap of great fighters, many greats fought the same level as Ennis did in the beginning and they blew them out just like Boots is, with potential, sometimes its the way its done more than against who

So I don't know how this fight could be competitive based on such fight. It was a SD win, which could have gone either way.

Staninionis needs a lot of adjustments if he wants to stay longer than 5 rounds in the Boots fight. Or avoid the fight entirely and go for Crowley.
I have indicated the same thing.
Seems this is the only available fight for both, other than the Crowley fight.

What else is there? Let's just say anything can happen in boxing.
