It's obviously a step up for them both but how competitive is it? Does Boots blow him out the water or is it a very competitive fight?

I say unproven is a better word but I guess it comes out to the same thing. Saying he'll beat Spence and Crawford isn't fair for people to sayComment

That is a very tough and dangerous fight for not just Boots but for anybody
Stanionis is the sleeper, Boots, Ortiz, Benn gets more hype but I do put Stanionis is in that mix for sure and you can argue he is more tested after beating a very Tough, Dirty and Powerful Butaev. Not many can withstand Butaev Pressure and Power, I would love to see how Boots would deal with Butaev if no Stanionis fight.
Stanionis has an excellent Jab, one of the best Jabs in boxing today that I have seen, Powerful meaningful Jab and also showed his durability vs Butaev he was eating all types of just nasty body shots as well as the dirty tactics. Very Underrated Fight!Comment

Stanionis is a Eurobum level fighter. His skills are sub par. He gets hit flush easy. He is slow. "Straight up and down with no special effects" type of fighter. He beat nobody worth a damn. Boots destroys the Eurobum in highlight reel fashion. It's not a competitive fight at all.Comment

The bolded is certainly arguable though. Butaev is probably a better win than any on Ennis' record.Comment
