If he stays content like this for too long, he might lose the chance to really carve out a legacy.
Ennis is stuck in the PBC house with almost no options but to sit it out and wait. Spence/Crawford hasn't even been announced yet. And after the fight both fighters won't be back at least several months. So that's a lot of waiting for Ennis.

90/10. I give Boots about a 10% chance at losing

Boots wouldn't even lose this fight in his sleep. Be competitive for maybe 1 round

Boots wins but I think he fights a little more strategically. I’m still not sold on his mental yet. Meaning, I want to see if he can show composure when the fighter across from him doesn’t fear him.

With that said, not sure Stannionis is that guy.

Why would Stanionis even expected to take this fight? He's got 15 fights on his record and Ennis got 30. And at 16th to 30th fight Ennis still hasn't fought anyone on his level. Why did this thing happen in the first place?

              Your logic is crazy.
How Boots proved himself ? He also fought and beaten no one legit.

Butaev was top 10 welterweight after beating Jamal James and he was one of those up and coming fighters. So you are saying Butaev is nobody, but did Boots ever fought anyone Buatev's level ? NO! I think that proves my logic, idk why what other logic we can use talking about Boots and Stanionis accomplishments.

Give me one good reason why Boots deserved title shot instead of Stanionis ? Stanionis win over Buatev makes his resume better than Boots, thats a fact unless you u dont understand anything about boxing and only praise your favorite fighter.

FYI Stanionis told in several podcasts that he tried to get a fight with Boots at least 2 times (before Deloach fight and after Deloach fight), but it felt short, cause they didnt get any response from Boots team. I am not saying hes ducking Stanionis or anything like that, but that tells something about Boots and his managers, they were avoiding good opposition and instead fighting C level fighters to make a resume. Stanionis on the other hand never turned down a challenge and with 14 fights have a belt and mandatory position. What Boots have with 29 wins and 27 KO's ? Hope you get the point...

Buatev has no notable wins or fights. But somehow stanionis beating him means something. Again that logic makes no sense.

What's the difference in butaev, lipinets, clayton? There is none.

Boots and Stanionis are on the same level. Stop acting like a butaev win is superior to a lipinets win. Neither is a top guy.

Boots vs Stanionis makes way more sense than Boots vs butaev.

Lipinets is 140 pounder and he was way past his best days when he fought Boots, Clayton best fight was Lipinets. Do you really thing Lipinets and Clayton are on the same level like Buatev ? For me its not even a question that Buatev would destroy both of them, its enough to just look at they past few fights... Yes, Butaev do not have any notable victories, but hes better fighter than the other two, u dont need to be an expert to see that.

I am not saying Stanionis and Boots are on different levels, I am just saying that fight between them makes no sense at least for Stanionis. For Boots it does, but if I am Stanionis I will try to get shot at Spence, if not than Thurman/Ugas or Crowley. Fight vs Boots would be much more interesting when they Both have a belt.
