I think this fight boosts both Demetrius and Jermall. The question is which fighter wants it more? I’ve been begging Jermall to fight Boo Boo since 2020. Still has not happen. But I do believe in miracles though!

It's hilarious isn't it?
And Stephen heard everyone pushing for Montiel, Adams, Hogan, Sulecki... ;-)“I don’t hear anybody, except for a very few notable people, who are pushing for Charlo-Andrade,” Espinoza told FightHype.com “I don’t really see—it’s not something I see on social media or when I’m out in public that people say, ‘that’s the fight you have to make’. I just don’t. A part of it is Andrade hasn’t been as visible as he’s been on DAZN fighting guys who don’t have the biggest names.Last edited by brettWall; 08-10-2022, 05:30 PM.Comment

Who did he turn down other than Jermell (lucky as hell Rocnation offered Andrade money)? Lara was a 3 fight showtime deal which is literally al haymon. See how that is working out for Crawford going over to PBC.
Replacement for Quillin which he was offered only 1/3rd the purse and had to go up a division on short notice. Maybe you can add Parker but Canelo got an 18-month extension by the WBO so beating Parker led to what?
This is literally what happens when you put big DAZN money behind him.
BJS - Nasal Spray
Charlo - 7-10 million DAZN
Canelo - Same platform, dumps belts for 160 undisputed and fights the great sweet cheeks for undisputed 168
Munguia - Andrade is bigger than Sadam Ali so I'll pass on the mandatory opportunity
GGG - I got equity thanks to blood-sucking Canelo so I don't have to fight you
Jermell and Parker are the only 2 legit passes. After Rocnation (JayZ/Haymon beef) he has never been offered anything real from PBC so don't give how they were open arms for him and a 3-fight Lara deal which never went anywhere. Again, Kid Choc PBC or pre-PBC but still Haymon.
There was almost a second meaningful middleweight fight made for December 16. Keith Connolly, Sergiy Derevyanchenko’s manager, told BoxingScene.com that the unbeaten middleweight agreed to face Demetrius Andrade on the Billy Joe Saunders-David Lemieux undercard December 16 in Laval, Quebec. The deal was almost finalized, but Andrade withdrew from negotiations because the undefeated contender didn’t think he had enough time to prepare for such a difficult fight against Derevyanchenko (11-0, 9 KOs).
Not turning down as it is pulling out.Comment

This is what is wrong with boxing right now Andrade is nearly 35 and never got that meaningful fight and Charlo is content playing it safeComment

Andrade is talented, but boring. It's his own fault that he hasn't gotten a meaningful fight. He's a safety first fighter. He hurts people early that he should be knocking out, but is satisfied to coast the rest of the way to a decision.Comment

Charlo isn't a Matchroom fighter. It's not Matchrooms responsibility to prop up Haymons business lol. Although for the sake of trying to make attractive fights and do what's right for the sport, they did offer 7mil. But they were too ****** to take it.Comment

The only way Charlo gets into the ring with Benavidez is if you put a gun to his head. He knows better. He will continue to starve himself to make 160 and fight nobodies thank to face that smoke!!

Everybody ducking Andrade. He called out a prime Mike Tyson and James Toney but they didn't want it either. Everybody knows Andrade is the G.O.A.T...Comment
