Wouldn't rule it out there's not many other options out there for Charlo at middleweight. Golovokin and Eubank are fighting. Benevidez can just sit and wait for the Canelo fight. Munguia says no .Won't happen unless WBO change their ruling or until after the Alimkhanuly fight thou

You dudes need to use your head. Espinosa is the president of showtime sports. His job is to make money for the network, not just throw it away on fights where there's no ROI. Unlike Andrade, those bums Charlo fights won't command a huge purse, so there's no risk by putting on those fights. All he's saying here is at the present time, the money Andrade will want to fight Charlo, doesn't match with how he thinks the fight will perform financially for the network.
If he was used to making XYZ to fight guys like Luke Keerler, he's going to command WXYZ to fight somebody like Charlo.Comment

So this is how the head of a major network decides what fights to make, but what he reads from some weirdo on twitter or hears while walking down the street? Not by matching the best fighters as much as we can, but by random requests from the general populous.Comment

Ah ok, I see. So when they called it showtime sports, the sport is important to them. Because all I see is they want to make money. That's cool, maybe they should call it showtime business. And just have the fighters sit in their corners with their screen imposed bank balances there for fans to watch. Because to be honest, as pathetic as that would be, it would probably be more exciting than Charlos next fight. Big bro Mall got money but his legacy is underachiever. And little bro Mell is gonna be the object of his green eyed monster lol. It hurts to be the ugly twin. But hey, he's got cash. Espinoza mean while is laughing plenty. Because y'all are paying for it lol. He's definitely laughing. Laughing and lying.

Why would anyone expect Espinoza to say anything remotely negative about PBC fighters? Only time I heard him slipped was when he was praising Carlos Ocampo, remember him? The guy who "stepped up" when everyone was avoiding the Errol Spence smoke? That was the tone of the presscon. He threw everyone under the bus. It never happened since.Comment

Showtime sports head Stephen Espinoza absolutely wrong on this one, the majority of boxing fans would love to see Charlo versus Andrade.
I mean we were waiting in anticipation to watch their fight the first time they were scheduled to fight each other years ago.
He should be doing everything he can in order to make this fight happen, it's way better than the recent opponents that they've been in against.
I do think that Charlo would win, but he'll now that he was in a fight, coming out lumped up, bruised up, and possibly cut, and bloodied.
Their fight would be so hotly contested that the fans would be clamoring for a rematch, and maybe even a trilogy.
