Let’s hope so. He needs to try and make a mark while he’s still young.

Thurman is not fighting Ennis. He and his team knows it.
You can incantate his name all you want and nothing will happen.

      That being said...

Any word from the Stanionis camp yet? Why is this info hard to acquire?

Why can't we have articles that have both sides of the subject?
It's been days and we have nothing from the Stanionis camp.
Isn't this just confirms that this fight will be so uneventful it's not worth covering?

Ennis can float a nobody but he can’t name a name that’s bigger than his. Meaning, the A side. He’s the B when it comes to Thurman and Thurman will NEVER fight him. Yea I said NEVER.

Benn, Ortiz, Ennis, all they have to do is call each other out. Stop this game of calling out imaginary fights that may never happen.

Stanionis is not fighting Ennis next, according to some knowledgeable fans here. It's not a sensible fight for the Lithuanian. That leaves Ennis with that Canadian guy who beat Josesito Lopez by UD last April. The undefeated Canadian must make sure he gets retirement money for the fight.

Ennis is a PBC fighter and is not expected to cross the street.

Yeah, I had a thread that dealt with that subject.
Ennis is basically floating names he knows won't happen to him next.

We still need to hear straight from the horse's mouth. That's all.

I do agree Thurman's credentials name recognition and ranking is why Boots called him out in the first place. Thurman's calling the shots in that fight regardless the beating boots would lay on him. Thurman already said he doesn't want that fight. Thruman going to fight danny.
Spence Crawford not next, doubt it gets made, not anytime soon Maybe Wbc forces Mandatory, Is Wbc the next mando for Spence? Thurman looking for big payday with lowest risk. Hes avoiding Boots Benn Ortiz he going to 154. I doubt he gets Crawford. So if they can't force Spence who's he fighting at 147? Hes already talking about fighting Danny. Thruman hasn't KOed anyone in Years, long long time. Looking sub par since 17. Damaged goods not the same fighter. He good but he on his way out
I believe a Crawford/Thurmanfight can be made. I’d even go a step further and say it appeases the fans if Crawford/Spence doesn’t materialize.

That “appeasement” point came to me after you made the point that Keith really has nowhere else to go at 147 and he seems to be cool with facing Danny at 54. Not an issue.

Besides, what’s left for him at 147 when Spence has pretty much ducked him with his fans’ permission? The only worthy risk left for him at 47 IS a Crawford fight. If he succeeds, he’d be what, a two-time Welterweight champion?

If Crawford beats him, he wouldn’t have gone out there and beat on a tomato can in a meaningless fight in lieu of a possible Spence fight. There aren’t many meaningful fights he can take at 147 at this point in time.

Ortiz Enis Benn Ugas Stanionis are ligit foes @147. The biggest fights Thruman gets unless WBC cook something up. Three could be made way easyier then Crawford.
I don't see how Thruman is getting Crawford next. Nah Crawford looking for the biggest fights.Thurman is not on that elite level doesn't have a title. Thruman going to have to beat someone to get that type of fight but he won't. Hell fight what ever PBC offers him @154 DSG most likely. Keith cant Knock anyone out at 147, so what's he gonna do at 154. Keith in it for the $$$$
