I understand your frustration, but I disagree with your statement that "they don't make meaningful fights." We just had Canelo vs. Plant for Undisputed @ 168. We just had Charlo vs. Castano II, for Undisputed @ 154. Fury vs. Wilder wasn't that long ago! Spence and Crawford are definitely creating a mess @ 147, but I believe we will get it in 2023, and news that we might get Boots vs. Stanionis has me very excited! The person I have a BIG problem with is Jermall Charlo! Charlo vs. Benavidez should be a no-brainer! I want that fight more than Canelo vs. GGG III, and Tank vs. Garcia, but it won't make as much money than either one of them! However that's no excuse to not make it happen!

The problem with Boxing is that, unlike the UFC, there are multiple promoters, and multiple networks! Dana basically has very little competition, like the NFL! That will never happen in Boxing! That's a gift and a curse! When promoters like Bob & King had a monopoly on the game, what did they do with that? Rob their fighters, underpay fighters, and fix fights! Now that more promoters got in the game, Boxers have more freedom, more money, more power! However, when Boxers overestimate their value, we get the situations like Spence vs. Crawford! I just wish the ABCs would be more helpful. Force fighters to defend their belts, or unify! Don't give them years to make a decision, i.e. LSC! Don't create multiple champions in one weight class, i.e, "Franchise," "Regular'" and "Super!" As far as i'm concerned, you win a title, you have 6 months to fight the mandatory, unify, or be stripped! I think that would go a long way into giving the fans what they want. The fans need to do their part too! STOP supporting fights you don't wanna see! Tank and KingRy are massive draws, but ain't fighting the fights we want, but I still see packed stadiums! That's on us, and if we keep coming, keep buying, keep subscribing, then we have no one to blame but ourselves!

Yeah Mall has kind of stalled out after that Derevyanchenko win. He looked nice in that one. Nobody ever beat him clean like that. I agree with your take. Its a fans fight with Benivdaz, He is bigger then Mall but that fight could get made. He really doesn't have much of a resume it's OK. He gets a lot of quality sparing tho, a lot.
