Not sure what ppl expect boots to do here? He's called out everyone and ranked #1 in wbo? Ranked high in other ABCs so theyll be forced to fight him at some point or jump. Give it 2 years or so, around 24 2025.
Ortiz Jr. is #1 in WBO, Boots #1 in IBF. Thurman is #1 with WBC. Stanionis #1 in WBA. Thurman already talking about DSG, so we should get Boots vs. Stanionis, and that's a damn good fight!

The issue is Thurman won’t view Ennis as a top tier fight. In ability maybe it is, but Ennis hasn’t proven he can shift tickets, never fought any big names yet etc etc nobody knows Ennis yet except hardcore fans.

I don’t see Thurman taking that fight, he will see it as there really not having much upside for him. He could wait to see if Spence or Crawford doesn’t get made and get one of those. those fights have bigger name value right now and I’m sure either of those guys will fight this faded Thurman.

In my opinion, Ennis isn’t getting a fight with the divisions more recognisable names unless he lands himself in a mandatory position and it gets called or he somehow has a crazy upturn in popularity. Right now he’s high risk and low reward.

I'd like to see the Stanionis fight. Any chance it happens?

danny moved up, porter retired, spence is fighting bud for all the belts and ugas just loss. So who does that leave? Thurman and stantionis.

Boots has a network deal at showtime. Nobody else does.

The network was willing to pay ppv dollars just to get thurman to fight boots. Thurman declines and somehow its boots fault. You're a whole clown

Why wouldn't Stainonis do what Ennis did, fight bums for most of his fights, and only stepped up in his 27th fight with a guy named Chris Van Heerden.
Someone needs to explain that strange record of Ennis. Why Stanionis got a title for only 15 fights and Ennis doesn't. Why was Ennis never been elevated to mandatory position by any of these ABC titles.

Dulorme almost got the same number of fights, yet he fought names like Crawford, Ugas, Vargas.

Jezzuz, I didn’t know it was this bad around here. Smh
Easy there Nancy. I’ve been watching boxing for 42 years. Boots is one of the most explosive fighters out there. He’s a KILLER. Thurman is a washed up FORMER short term champion. He beat the cats during his day and I’ll tip my hat to that. However, now he’s soft. I’ll say it again, Boots obliterates the now Keith “Runtime” Thurman.

A grown ass, do-nothin-ass, MALE is calling a professional fighter and former unified champion with one loss "soft?!" I'm logging off.

42 years wasted. You have my pity!
