    • If the fight doesn't happen now, there'll be lots of choices for Cryan Garcia and anyone he fights next would be tolerable to fans. Not the same case with Stanks.

You guess it right. I'm no big fan of any fighter. I see things as they are like most normal people do.

      • A few things to considered here! None of the 2 fighters have fought any real class fighters. To be honest Ryan fought a better quality fighter than Tank in their last outing. Fortuna is better that Romero! Tank did fight at 140 didn't he? Why did he fight at 140? O yes to cherry pick Barrios! Ryan and Tanks should forget about this fight, they are social media darlings and we the real boxing fans know this scrap is good only for a preliminary fight in a real champs fight event! Mayweather keeps selling all the casual fans dreams of ducking! Forget Ryan let give Cruz his most deserving rematch! Titles? You know Floyd who the real champ at 135 is "Haney" He beat the man who beat the man! Floyd is not about you, stop taking about yourself, is your fighter's turn. Sacrifice! You want to talk about sacrifice? Tell the casual fans how much $$$ you paid Marquez to fight at the weight you wanted to fight? The fight was supposed to be at 145 and you came in to the scale at 150. How about the amount of $$ you paid Maidana in the second fight, where you wanted him to use the gloves you picked for him? Or how about the fight with Canelo, where the 154 pounder title was at steak and you made the boy fight at 150. Or how about how you made Pacquiao wait years to fight him supposedly because random blood testing didn't take place, but at the end after Marquez ko the fkkk out of him, you fought him without any blood testing! Mayflowers knows he only has Tank in his stable that can generate $$ for him, he doesn't want his cash cow to disappear! Here if the fight doesn't happened Tank will look like a bi8tch! Why? very simple, he has fought at 140 and claimed a bogus title!

It will be up to Davis if he wants to go to 140 or not.
          Well said, Richardt.

Ryan lives in a dreamworld where he thinks he can dictate anything. Not in boxing. Maybe he can dictate to his teenage girls and gay fans.

          Beyond delusional.

          • The pot isn't big enough to get Showtime and DAZN to do a joint PPV.

Stephen Espinoza was on Mannix's podcast recently and said that isn't not that they're against doing it, but the numbers arent there to make that kinda thing possible - 500k or less is not going to warrant a joint Showtime/DAZN PPV broadcast - ever.

The only times it's ever happened in history were Tyson-Lewis and Mayweather-Pacquiao, which were 2million+ buys.

I think all sides know the fight isn't going to happen.

You must be living under a stone all this while. Ryan has called Tank out twice at 135 and Tank took his bait but Ryan ran in both occasions. Now he's trying to save face by calling him out again but then at 140. We all know that Tank is too small for 140 and he himself has stated he's not going to fight at 140 again. Ryan has been fighting short opponents and that's why he has ducked Haney when he was his mando and not willing to fight him any time soon. Belts mean nothing to him said and yet he brings his worthless belt into the ring each time he's in the ring. So to me he's saying this because he's not willing to face the undisputed champ, Haney.

Besides, if he's truly confident enough that he can beat Tank he should make some necessary sacrifices to make the fight happen. Floyd accapted all terms when he called out Oscar de la Hoya likewise Haney accepted all conditions and travelled all the way to Australia to fight Kambosos. If Ryan is still not all talk and no action he should drop to 135 and fight Tank. Tank is A side and he dictates the terms. Period.

Ok brainiac let’s break down the word pudgy in your contexts of the usage applied to those fighters you mentioned. Replace the word “pudgy” with “OLD”.
PRIME fighting weight of Mayweather was 130. PRIME Oscar was 135. PRIME Hopkins was 160. PRIME Pac was 135ish.
Keep moving that goal post because you have no idea what you talking about…. Every boxer you used as examples besides pac man who came from 108lbs is over 5’8… tall boxers because I know you are a little slow…. Davis is 5’4-5’5 you just don’t know what you talking about and it shows the more you post

                • Right after Ryan fights at 140 and says he’s not going back to 135, suddenly the fight can be made at 135.

                  Brilliant..

Tank is popular because he's black, under Mayweather and inner city mentality. He has that blue blood fan base. If he was white, he'd be ****.
I give 20% credit to Floyd's name. The rest is all his and his style. Floyd isn't even a good promoter. If he was white, he'd be a boxing god. You got it backwards.

                    • If the Ryan Garcia vs Tank Davis fight doesn't happen, I have no problem with Gervonta rematching Isaac Cruz.
