Comments Thread For: Hearn: Canelo Has To Be Respected For Picking Bivol Instead of Charlo

Hearn knows that he has a presence in the usa because of Canelo, he will kiss arse, brown nose do anything and say anything he has to to keep in canelo’s good graces. He’s just being the typical Brentwood entitled silver spoon type when he goes on about Benevidez having to fight someone else before getting to fight canelo. Young Edward is a clinical narcissist, he has all the signs of someone diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. He can’t resist speaking on other promotions fighters and in his own mind he feels he is telling them what do do because he feels they all should be working for him. The reason he is trying to shut Charlo out of the picture is because he tried to get Charlo to sign with him when he was insulting all the FBA pbc fighters when he came to the usa back in his “American takeover” campaign in an attempt to get them to sign with him. He tried to get Spence, wilder, tank, Broner, Charlo etc and often ridiculed them if they didn’t go along with what he wanted. I recall him doing a live chat with Charlo where Charlo made sure to show him his property and hinting he was making big money with Haymon and Hearn insulting him over the live chat. Obviously signing Andrade was an attempt to lure Charlo just like signing farmer was an attempt to lure tank. Hearn hates taking losses. I dealt with type I and type II psychopaths in deployments in the Army and as an LEO stateside and in that time I definitely learned how to recognise who’s a narcissist and who’s an antisocial (another personality disorder), and who’s both (a psychopath.) what hearn says, his need to control, his ridiculing anyone who doesn’t go along with him, his desire to want to be in total control, the high work ethic, is par for the course for a narcissist

This is just plain pathetic. He picked Bivol because he thought that it would be easier than fighting Charlo, Benavidez and Andrade. Anybody that knows boxing understands that styles make fights. It was a ducking cherry pick that backfired. Now it’s old Golovkin to make the Red Baron cobarde look good again

He wanna legacy and is reaching what he wants.
Somebody drank the carrot (top) juice. He picked the path of least resistance. Instead of fighting Charlo/Benavidez, he chose to fight Bivol/GGG. Before the Bivol fight, he didn't think Bivol was the hardest fight stylistically, you are armchair quarterbacking. He actually thought, along with most observers, that he would beat Bivol due to him having only 18/19 fights at the time and everyone knows he's going to wreck GGG. Charlo/Benavidez are real threats that's why he chose Bivol/GGG, the path of least resistance. He's not fighting Bivol next and he's not gonna touch Benavidez. He'll probably fight Charlo and I put emphasis on "probably."Oracle01 likes this.
