The 1st fight was more controversial, in my mind Golovkin won that fairly clearly, but the 2nd fight could have gone either way depending on whose work you preferred.

Canelo beat ggg soundly in the 2nd fight with no controversy. The right guy won. Controversy is the word used by people with agendas and emotional casuals.
