2nd fight is clear victory for Nelo due to better aggression, ring generalship, power punches and defensive skills. That's how fights are scored. Not by bUt bUt lAndEd mOrE JabS.

Most of casuals who are crying about 2nd fight, are still painful for the 1st fight.

The fact that there was widespread disagreement... in fact even the fact that we're still discussing it makes it by definition a 'controversy'. Just because you got strong beliefs on it one way or another in don't render opposing opinions non-existant. Even if you were somehow proved 'right' (an impossibilty in a field as subjective as boxing scoring) it would still remain a 'controversy' as long as a substational number of people disagreed.

Disagreement between emotional fanboy cheerleaders don't count.

No bro in reality lol. If you don’t believe me go check box rec. the reality is canelo got a draw the 1st fight and won the 2nd fight. That’s old history. Anything anyone else says is just fantasy is their own heads and seeing it from their minds point of view. Try taking ur opinion of both fights to a bookie and try to get them to pay u based on it. They pay bets based on reality not subjective opinions. History has always been written by victors. The 2nd fight is not debateable because the decision was read 4 years ago. Try arguing strikes when u play baseball. It never works. You gotta not strike out. Bumlovkin is 0 for 2 those are FACTS.

I only seen the first one twice and ggg seemed the clear winner...the second fight I watched it once and had it a draw. I don't even know who should care anyways nothing can be changed no matter how unfair the scorecards were.

The only shameful scorecard was Adelaide Bird’s in the first fight. If she scored it 115-113 for Canelo it would have been acceptable and changed nothing. They fought two close fights, no knockdowns, neither were wobbled or in any serious trouble. I had GGG edging the first and Canelo the second.

I do think people who had GGG walking away with both don’t appreciate good defense. Even in the first, GGG was much more active, but Canelo was catching and countering with crisp, accurate punches that GGG was just taking on the noggin in typical GGG fashion. A boxing purist who isn’t emotionally involved would easily give those rounds to Canelo while others extoll the virtues of a jab. A jab is supposed to set up combinations. The only way to win a fight with a jab is to completely nullify any payback, à la GGG vs Lemieux. This was never the case…….

its just one of these contests that keeps giving and giving, they should have just scored the fights correctly and given ggg a win out of the two fights and had them level, that would have been fair and ended a lot of the crap around this fight but its actually puts a clear spotlight on the judging bias & corruption, that exists pretty much right through the sport, the clowns who judge these fights know they have got it wrong, there is no excuses for them, the people who say ggg has no win v any good opponent etc just keep dragging it out over and over again because they hate ggg & they point to BS scorecards as proof and thats boxing
