I agree and it's sad, he's putting his bottom line ahead of Chisora's health. These beatings he's taking are taking their toll on his brain, may not see it now but in 10 years? I like Del Boy too he's a fighter for sure but sometimes you gotta save a man from himself. Even if he'll continue elsewhere Hearn has gotta wash his hands rather than keep trotting Chisora out there.

I thought there were some scary signs in the second Parker fight. It looked like Chisora’s punch resistance had considerably declined. The worst thing about Chisora is his toughness, bravery etc. He’s not just taking one shot, he’s taking beatings man. How many clean shots has this man taken from 14 stone+ men? It’s got to be in the thousands.

The only one pretending is someone who looks at the list I created and then says all the top fighters are not facing each other which flies in the face of reality. This is about the heavyweight division.

For a 12 loss heavyweight to continue to get headlines shows a sad state of affairs for the division.

He’s an entertaining fighter & personality. He has a solid fanbase & people pay to watch him. Zab Judah & Paulie Malinaggi kept getting big fights past their best days because they both were extremely popular & sold tickets. Fighting those 2 on the road was good for the bank account. The same can be said for Chisora.
I am ok with him fighting Pulev. I would be cool watching him fight Arreola, Kownacki, Helenius or Charr. Faded HWs fighting each other is cool with me. I always use the Frans Botha/Michael Grant fight as an example. Both were on the back 9 of their careers but put together a surprisingly entertaining fight for the fans.

Don't see how anybody can hate on Delboy, he's been an anybody any place kind of fighter his entire career. He's never ducked anybody and fought a whos who of the division.

If only more of this generation of boxers had his attitude to the sport we'd get so many more good fights

First of all, I never responded to or discussed ANYTHING other than the heavyweight division in this thread - so a little reading comprehension would go a long way. I mentioned a good number of top heavyweights that fought each other so what the hell are you mentioning other weight divisions for? I guess English is not your first language. Stick to the topic on hand!

Nobody wants to see that. There are many interesting fights for Chisora, like Kownacki, Arreola, Rice, Helenius rematch, Bryan, Ortiz, Martin..

He's a journeyman who sometimes drags better fighters down to his level for entertaining scraps. He was never anything more than that and he never will be.

Im a fan... knowing that Derrick is no Joe Louis so to speak.... What is not to like with Del Boy? He never let a loss, or the prospect of losing a fight stop him, he has always been at least competative in the ring.

If more fighters did what he did, fought, with no regard for trying to be undefeated, we would not have such a logger jam for the guys coming up. And one thing we can probably all agree upon: The build up and fight with Haye was fabulous.

I never said I didn't like him.

I said that he's consistently overrated and overhyped.

Everyone likes him so much that they convince themselves he's much better than he really is, which causes them to think he won fights he lost clearly and causes them to think he has a chance to beat fighters he has no business in the ring with.
