Canelo doesn't belong in LHW.. I mean is that supposed to be a slight at Canelo?

Beterbiev would kill Canelo but duhh?? He would do the same to anyone under 175 lbs.

Now I know the some Canelo fanboys thought he had a chance at Beterbiev and if they still do they need to slap themselves

The same goes the other way. Lots of people saying Artur would beat Bivol and Canelo, based on simply being Canelo haters.

Sad the way boxing is, half these 'fans', don't actually want to see boxing.

There's divisions for a reason. What Canelo has achieved at LHW is remarkable, defeating Kovalev albeit no longer in his prime by far.
He can be a solid B class LHW, but he will not carry his power against true LHW. He might land big shot few times in several rounds, but that's not the kind of power that Beterbiev or Stevenson naturally has.

Did you even read that article? “if we win in may” He lost, as you know. He’s not fighting another LHW besides Bivol, and that is at earliest next year.

175 seemed to be a step to far for Canelo. I'm surprised that people seem to be making the same mistakes they did with Bivol and saying things like Canelo would be able to outbox Beterbiev and get a decision - like the Bivol fight, Canelo fans will be in for another rude awakening if that fight happens. There were people saying Bivol's a basic 1-2 fighter but he ended up making Canelo look like a face first brawler. Beterbiev will make Canelo look like he has no business in the same ring with a 175lber.

No slight to Canelo, the guy showed huge balls, took a massive risk and it ended up being a step too far. Nothing to be ashamed of but his fans need to watch they don't write off another very good lhw the same way they did with Bivol.

bivol wasn't looking to fight beterbiev in 2019 and isn't looking to fight him now. the aging effect hasn't taken full effect yet.
