If Canelo had any ambitions of flirting with 175 again, I think Beterbiev just crushed them. Canelo is out of easy fights. At 168 he won’t be able to shrug off Benavidez or Charlo much longer. He will get a win in his trilogy with GGG, but I don’t see an easy way forward in 2023.

        Pretty respectful though!

Now he's going for a 40 year-old past it GGG for another sweet piece of cherry-pie. Honestly, probably the last slice he's ever going to get.
Yeah, im pretty sure dude tried to ruin Canelo's night. Cant blame him for reacting like that.

Bro nobody is talking about Andrade, I'd at least understand if u brought up Benavidez or Charlo man.

Maybe he should have cherry picked Joe Smith instead of challenging himself against the guy that beat Joe Smith.
You can find posts of me last year saying Smith would be a good fight for him. I wanted to see him in there with Browne, Bivol, Smith, Betebiev, Pascal if he was as good as y'all said he was. Instead he picked on the weak 168lb division which included a BJS that was basically gifted a 168lb belt after getting stripped at 160 for PEDs.

It's disrespectful af to Beterbiev too. He loves to talk about resume, but Gvozdyk, Browne, Hot Rod are excellent names. Especially Gvozdyk, to me he's no different than Bivol.

I never said those words, pretty sure if I said Beterbiev would beat Canelo, he'd probably lose Usyk easily

You seem pretty respectful but the thing is, most canelo fans on here last year were the ones beating their chests had and calling Bivol and Betebiev bums. They said he already proved he was the best at 175 by beating Kov and was fighting bigger challenges like BJS.

When you ride w a fanbase you also gotta accept that the criticism comes because of them.

Hey, if Canelo got shat on for "cherrypicking" Bivol do you think the same people will give Beterbiev the same treatment for
                      cherrypicking Bivol's sloppy seconds?
