Apparently it's a cherry-pick because Canelo thought he would win. I suppose then a boxer should only take fights he expects to lose.

The levels of bias and ******ity (in equal measure) on this forum never cease to amaze me.

Said the bookmaker to the punters that lost his money on the favorite, you know how many times the bookie has lost.

Nobody is a fool for not getting it right, it was just looking from a different perspective, tell me how many times have you got it wrong, were you a fool?

            Man, it is just funny.

before the fight: "who the f.uck is Bivol doe, Canelo beats Usyk doe.."

( atfer schooling): "Canelo dared to be great fighting Bivol, give him the props"..

You guys were just too obsessed with that myth how great Canelo was.

In reality, he lost to Floyd, GGG and Bivol. And he hardly hardly beat Lara.

A standard cherry pick is normally a guy you EASILY BEAT.
Ive very rarely see cherry picks win. IF they win. It’s because of a style clash usually.
Canelo always looked BAD against great boxers TILL HE HIT THEM SOLID. He hit Bivol but it had NO EFFECT cause he’s just as thick or thicker than Canelo. Not to mention he’s also taller and longer. I’m my opinion Bivol will beat his Russian counterpart EASILY.

Bivol, Plant, BJS, Yildrim, Smith, Jacobs, Fielding

They're all boxers with ~50% KO ratio. Over the past 10 years, Canelo has fought 2 dangerous punchers. Kov was 36 coming off 2 KO losses against pillowfisters, and after having 2 tough fights against Golovkin he waited for G to hit 40 before booking the 3rd fight. In their history, you can see Reynoso doing everything possible to avoid Golovkin, from Caneloweight, to giving up the belt, etc.

Canelo has been very carefully managed for 10 years. He gets judges in his pocket, and fights a boxer instead of a dangerous, exciting opponent. That is Canelo's version of "Cherrypick". He's openly stated that's what he learned from the Floyd fight - that he needs to stack the odds in his favor, and he's been doing that ever since.
Benavidez was green. That would be a good fight now, maybe in 2023. When Canelo critics were asking for it, Benavidez had no good wins. And even 1 loss to an unknown, Gavril. Now Benavidez has at least two okay wins over a couple of names. But Lemiuex is a bloated MW. I guess the fight could happen now, although I am not crazy about it. Benavidez still has some room for growth, become prime. But if critics want it that badly, for whatever reason, not sure what Benavidez and Charlo would do for Canelo. It’s definitely a weird ask by Canelo critics. Not quite as weird as Mayweather critics asking for Mayweather to fight Baldomir and Vivian Harris. But it’s up there.

Charlo is a MW. Stop it. You will not give credit to Canelo for beating a MW. You already give him zero credit for Jacobs and Saunders. You’re not giving him credit for Charlo, no way in hell. I do not believe that for one second. Charlo, of all fighters, would supposedly get Canelo credit from you? You’re not fooling me with that BS.

GGG - Critics were all getting on Canelo about fighting an “old” GGG in the rematch. I had no clue, until now, that his fans had resurrected GGG for a third time. GGG has looked like crap since the rematch. It’s a pointless trilogy and I wish Canelo signed to fight Beterbiev rather than GGG.

Beterbiev and Bivol are equally good, so far, they have similar resumes. Beterbiev is older and more powerful, Bivol is younger and more of a boxer (but both are excellent boxers). Both are interchangeably top 1-2 at 175. Both have extensive amateur careers. Bivol 283 fights, 15 losses, Beterbiev 295-5. If you knew an ounce about boxing, you would be aware that Canelo was probably biting off more than he could chew with either of these two. Many fans sh/tted on Bivol, but at least some of them called the Bivol win accurately.

Ramirez - Assuming it’s Zurdo. Wow. I mean this guy is 30, has been fighting since 2009. He is legitimately Mexican, speaks Spanish like some Mexican fans obsess it’s a skill that a fighter claiming to be Mexican should posses in order for them to like them. He has it all. And hasn’t really broken out yet. He has some good wins, from years and years ago.

Overall, aside from Beterbiev, just an odd list of opponents for a Canelo critic to ask for. It just looks like a list of fights from a Canelo critic who knows very well that neither of those fights were worth anything at the time. Different story if Charlo comes up to 168, establishes himself with a good couple of wins, and then calls out Canelo. Benavidez I think will be ready in 2023. Idk what’s with the obsession with Canelo fighting a green Benavidez who was clearly still learning.

Retrieve some posts of Canelo fans calling Bivol a nobody. Or stop spreading lies. Be serious for one second.

The only one’s calling Bivol a nobody were Canelo critics trying to discredit the fight. I don’t knownhow you guys make comments before a fight and then spin it on those who were saying the opposite. With the comments still being fresh on the website.

If it truly was “most” then there should be an abundance of posts predicting this. Link me to at least least 10 posts predicting Canelo would KO Bivol. This should be an easy find since “most” fans predicted it.

I can show you one post where I commented that Canelo caj lose this fight and that I think he is biting off more than he could chew. That’s because it’s a fact that I posted that.

But it is false that “most” predicted Canelo wins by KO. That would be a really dumb prediction. All one had to see was Canelo’s struggles of KO’ing Callum Smith, and his struggles with Kovalev, to know that Bivol was going to end up being tougher.

Now I can tell you for sure, I remember Canelo critics talking massive sh/t about Bivol. Talking like he was some bum. That’s what I saw.
