I thought Vlasov deserved a rematch with Joe Smith

Wow shocking result. Didn’t see that coming. Haven’t even heard of the opponent tbh.

He whooped Smith and got robbed, straight up.

Vlasov losing today doesn't exactly inspire confidence in Smith's chances against Beterbiev.

Could be the Smith fight took something out of him

I guess I'd have to see it to understand why it didn't go to the cards.

Well he's 35 and has been through 10-12 round fights with Isaac Chilemba (twice), Gilberto Ramirez, Krzysztof Głowacki, and Smith so it's not surprising.

Wow, shocked to hear that, he was fighting a Russian level guy that was a career SMW. Vlasov beat Smith, there's no doubt about it, I guess he just got over the hill rather suddenly. Sucks for him, his career was close multiple times to being something more significant
