He needs to take whatever PBC will offer him to face Charlo. Not sure he even has another serious option.

If Andrade doesn't sign with the PBC, he might as well fight Janibek.

Munguia dropped the primary mando. That was the big Los Angeles fight. the Great Janibek was picked from a hat. DAZN didn't care. Andrade didn't care. Bob didn't care. Only the fanboys who see an Eastern Euro or Central Asian name think Janibek is a big fight for Andrade vs GGG, Big Charlo, Munguia, BJS and the Great Canelo. See the level of delusion here.

Janibek is a good fighter. He has decent wins over Brant and N'Dam. He didn't look great against Vaughn Alexander a few years back (although he won the fight more clearly than the cards indicated).

Andrade has been his own worst enemy. Promotional disputes, inactivity and fighting marginal opposition. Since Martirosyan, he's fought: Rose, Pucheta, Nelson, Culcay, Fox, Kauntandokwa, Akakov, Sulecku, Keeler, Quigley and Williams.

Im sure some guys swerve him because the juice isn't worth the squeeze but he swerves dudes too because he isn't willing to fight someone for less than will be a possible springboard to a bigger fight.

Andrade's problems are entirely due to him not building a fanbase - this is due to fighting in safety-first style, being out of the ring for years due to shady business decisions, and also turning down hallmark opportunities (IE turning down Charlo).

Because he's not a draw, he's high risk low reward. So no one is interested. But when he was offered a high risk, low reward fight himself, he chose to drop the belt rather thank take the fight and try to build a little hype around his name.

So I don't want to hear his name anymore. He's a nobody, will retire a nobody, will have fought no one. Period.

Andrade is still the champion. Janibek won the interim title and if Andrade decides he still wants to campaign at 160lbs and keep his WBO title, he has to face Janibek next.

I think Janibek would be the best opponent Andrade has faced at 160lbs thus far.

I watched him in the 2013 World Amateurs and really liked his style. His style was a bit different then but you can see his talent.

This is a fight between top fighters and the winner will really prove themselves.
OR, or he could fight a REAL FIGHTER?? Like Benavides, Plant, Jacobs, Lara, Billy-Joe Sanders, GGG.
He’s already OLD. He wasted all that time. Same goes for the Charlos, Tank, and a few more that slip my forgetful mind.
