Canelo has now lost to Floyd, a hall of famer and Bivol, possible hall of famer, but an elite boxer. Every elite fighter Oscar faced, he lost to. He lost to Trinidad, Floyd, Mosely (2x), Bhop, and Pac.
I don't believe he'll go for the rematch next, another loss and his so called invincibility is gone. He'll go with GGG and he damn sure won't fight Beterbiev or Benevidez anytime soon, if ever. He's good, but I don't believe he'll beat the top fighters.
After he lost that narrow fight against Trinidad (he did lose) he became less choosy and fought more risky foes than before. He came up short, but was always capable of winning, and gave it his best.
His ******* habit had a lot to do with his losses I'd say. But again, quality wise , far superior to Alvarez.Knuckle sandwich likes this.

Win/win for Bivol if he takes the rematch at 168. HUGE payday plus he gets all the belts at 168 if he beats Canelo again and if he loses he can just use the weight issue for the reason and still have his 175 belt. I say do it in September

Did Nelo just have an off night,?
Nope bivol boxed his ears off, canelo has no choice but to go for a rematch at 175, bivol will be less careful, and get the ko.
