I wanna see Canelo getting his ass kicked again. For all the bs he has said about Golovkin in the past and his huge ego.

HUGE Ray Leonard fan. He sold me on this sport. I have watched as many of his fights as i can scrounge up.

But not only do YOU think Ray lost, Ray does. He has said so in many interviews that he and Hearns are 1-1.

Control Canelo with jabs and straight rights to the body. He's weak to the body. Floyd did it, and Bivol did it. GGG headhunts Canelo too much, but controlling Canelo downstairs opens him up and tires him quickly. If GGG adds this to his approach I think he wins the rematch.

When he got outboxed by fury he wanted to do it again, when he got beaten in that attempt he tried for a third time. When Mayweather had it tough with Mariana and Castillio he fought them both again because people said they beat him, he made adjustments and beat them both. This level of heart abs risk just doesn’t seem to be something Canelo believes he has it can do or perhaps doesn’t want to risk hurting his brand enough. I think Canelo is well aware that the boxing establishment caters to him as the popular Mexican fighter of the day. I think he knows he is a gravy train that the establishment will protect because everyone is making money off him
You’re the first person I’ve ever heard suggest that Floyd Mayweather has bigger balls than Canelo. Not sure how closely you followed Floyd’s career but he’s not known for his nerve or big balls when it came to matchmaking. He was in fact perhaps the most calculated decision maker when it came to competition in the entire sport. You are suggesting that Canela doesn’t have the nerve to step up for a rematch but he already said that’s what he wants,

I think a few of our posters on our fan site are letting their dislike of Canelo (or of Trip G) totally blind themselves of a bit of reality.

Boxing fans do NOT decide how successful a boxing match is, casuals and main sports media do. A rematch with Bivol will earn more money than the first one did for sure. But there is ZERO WAY it gets more publicity, more discussion on sports talk shows, or more eyeballs on PPV than a third match with Golovkin. Canelo is still "the" name in boxing despite the loss. Golovkin has been undefeated since his last fight with Canelo and is a champion again. Most of us know Trip G has fought absolutely no one of value, but the hype around him will be really easy. This is the bigger fight for him.

Can he live with the loss? If so, Trip G is the more profitable, easier fight.

It's about time that Boxing scene pensioned off their hack writers. If you KNOW he wasn't perfect, he is obviously NOT infallible. This crap writer threw in this useless line to fill out his weak article.

Fitzsommons just couldn't resist prominently placing the fact that Alvarez began as a 140 lber front and centre. I don't know what he's trying to "prove".

THE KID WAS 15, and GROWING. ANy 15 year old kid of 140 is likely to grow to be anything from 170-200 lbs. He had 10 years of growth to come. He is NOT small. He has a body like a bull, thick, muscled and strong. And Bivol is not a "TALL" 175 lber, this is an average height. AND there are only SEVEN pounds between Super-mid. and Lt-heavy.. About the amount of daily food and drink intake for a normal person.

AND, it wasn't his "second" but about his 5-6th. "fall from grace". You forget-conveniently maybe, his adventures with clenbuterol and perhaps other PEDS. Not to forget his compliant little helpers in a few of his fights. I refer to the Adelaide Byrdites, his judges. Not as obvious as she, but still, just as effective. Just take Golovkin 1 for an example.

Omitting 2-3 others, lets jump to Bivol. 115-113. Everyone and his grandmother had it 118-110, or 117-111 Even your worthy self, although we don't know how much this just lip-speak.

GO back to HONEST writing school.

But strangely, he may be right...this time. His Mayweather substitute hero has to get an easier fight to reinstate his "glow:".

I don't see how Canelo beats Bivol especially at 175. Bivol looked great. He looked natural, healthy, precise, and skilled. Canelo was throwing bombs, and although Bivol openly admitted to feeling his strength, he wasn't dominated by it. I'd love to see Canelo face GGG for the trilogy. GGG deserves his opportunity. Canelo's loss also makes him look more human compared to how he looked previously. Granted it was in his second outing at 175 pounds, but he looked beatable. GGG took a few rounds to get going against Murata, but he looked great in closing out the show. I think the trilogy has more intrigue after both of their performances.

                    [QUOTE=MaksBox;n31409984]If Bivol vs Canelo go 3 fights, it will be the same as Fury vs Wilder.... Canelo just does not have the ability to to outbox or beat Bivol. Canelo is blown up and still does not have the power to stop Bivol.... and he is too short too stubby too blown up to outbox him. There is no point to seeing Canelo get outboxed again.[/QUOTE}
                    wn0up-.

He's all of what you say, except that he's not "blown up'. He is a solid, thick, big bodied short leffed 168 lbs, and I dount if he could even get down again to 160 without har,

Why is he fighting an OLD Golovkin , a career 160 lbs at 168. What everyone seems not to see is that Alvarez was NEVER half as good as his fans and others thought. Kovalev, old, almost, washed up was winning well until he ran out of gas near the fight end.. He beat some others with the aid of his "little helpers" Adelaide Byrd cousins. He avoided Golovkin2 for as long as he could with the aid of PEDS. that he knew would be found.

His boxing technique is not much better than amateur, at least that which he showed against Bivol..The way he wings that thumb first right to the body should result in broken thumbs all the time. That is, if it hits the body instead of Bivol's arms....or misses completely because he wouldn't commit and put his weight into it.

He seems to wear Frankenstein boots. Molasses pours faster than his feet move.

A little hyperbole I admit but not all that much.

Cowardnelo next fight will probably be a "comeback" fight against a bum.

Maybe Moseley jr or more likely a Gabe Rosado level bum.
