Tbf, he said all he had to say about it in one night of post-fight media duties, but this webpage’s business model involves milking the max. from these events by transferring singular points from the proceedings into articles for clicks.Comment

From what I read, Bivol got $2 million to fight Canelo. Kovalev got $11 million.Comment

I hear ya, Bivol!
Demand more money! Canelo's in a tight spot right now....he'll definitely have to pay Bivol more in a rematch or move on with the L on his record. He's gotta handle business at 175 or move down to 168 and still have his hands full against the likes of Benavidez, whom in my opinion, hasn't done much at 168 for an undisputed clash.
Moreover....Canelo's aura is pretty much been washed away. Had he gotten stopped this past Saturday, I think he'd be considering retirement or a long break from the sport after pretty much dominating since his lost to Floyd.Comment

Canelo is in a unique position, he doesn't necessarily have to avenge his loss given that he fought in a weight class where he doesn't belong. Fans understand this.
There are bigger fights for Canelo at 168 that people prefer to see. If Bivol wants the rematch he will have to come down to 168 to fight for all the belts. He should take whatever Canelo offers him, there won't be a bigger payday fighting anyone else.Comment

I think Bivol has cashed his only Canelo check. The "payday" is over, now you have to actually earn your respect against guys your size. Ever heard of your fellow country man that is in your weight class? The unified champ Artur Beterbiev, go see him. I for one will be happy to see Russian Ped's vs Russian Ped's, technical doping vs power doping, that's the good stuff.Comment
