Canelo outlanded both GGG and Lara in power punches. Bivol outlanded Canelo in power punches. That is how you win fights. Not jabbing for 12 rounds and allowing your opponent to outland you with power punches.

Yeah, I'm kinda biased per hearn and his antics. But all of your questions are about Canelo. I give Canelo props to take the fight, but I expected this outcome (minus the ridiculous scoring). Other than Canelo getting preferential treatment by judges he gets my respect. Training and fighting take a tremendous toll. He has done well and continues to do well.

That said, I don't buy the P4P hype (for anyone). I've said many times I thought Pascal never enetered Canelo's talk for good reasons, and some others. Beterbiev wold be a terrible matchup. The Kovalev fight was su****ious on many levels. Still, not many could beat Kovalev in ANY condition ... so Canelo is his own kind of beast for sure.

There are many other beasts out here too though ....

No anxiety on my end. I'm not a fan of Canelo, I placed money on Bivol at value and chose Canelo by close UD in the pick'em because I figured the Vegas judges would be overly kind to him. I don't rate anyone as P4P, it's a useless debate that just degenerates into people trotting out an opinion and getting mad at others for doing the same.

As for Hearn, I think he's as sleezy and slimy as the rest of the promoters. No more, no less.

Canelo had two options offered to him, he went with the one that offered the greater challenge in Bivol and a 3rd fight with a guy many felt he already lost to. He came up short. It's really just that simple.

Bivol should drop down to 168 for the rematch and take all of Canelo's belts. He previously said he could easily make 168 before this fight became a reality at 175.
