Golovkin might have lost too much now for this to be a decent match, but they were well matched before. If it’s even 70% of match 2, I’m in
TBF, the 1st 2 fights were the stuff of repeated watching.
Just that Nelo is handling these bigger guys very well (despite tonight's outcome) whereas GGG has been on the same bum diet. Can Nelo be emotionally up for GGGeezer 3 ?

Bivol was the most dangerous of his potential opponents but that's who Canelo chose to fight. He lost, would his legacy been better off beating the lesser Charlo and a welterweight?
Yeah, I'm kinda biased per hearn and his antics. But all of your questions are about Canelo. I give Canelo props to take the fight, but I expected this outcome (minus the ridiculous scoring). Other than Canelo getting preferential treatment by judges he gets my respect. Training and fighting take a tremendous toll. He has done well and continues to do well.

That said, I don't buy the P4P hype (for anyone). I've said many times I thought Pascal never enetered Canelo's talk for good reasons, and some others. Beterbiev wold be a terrible matchup. The Kovalev fight was su****ious on many levels. Still, not many could beat Kovalev in ANY condition ... so Canelo is his own kind of beast for sure.

There are many other beasts out here too though ....

Anyway, no real need for anxiety on your part is there?

Canelo took a risk and he got beat. He deserves huge credit for challenging himself, it's what we claim we want more fighters to do.
Yeah, always want to see crazy leaps from fighters.

You know something, though? He could still win a title at cruiserweight, albeit against a more limited opp. Usyk was a mad idea.

Great night for boxing, finally someone who beats Canelo actually gets the win unlike others who have outclassed him. Great night of boxing in the usa, two weekends in a row of Reynoso fighters losing to more skilled boxers.
Corrupt judges like Mayweather Maidana? You’re a wannabe

          • It wasn't even close bivol completely dominated him from the first bell really.

alvarez knows his limitations now weight and size matter in boxing.

              • We now know in order to beat Canelo you need to win 10 to 11 rounds to skirt away with a 7-5 decision. Glad Bivol didn't get robbed like GGG did. **** these "world class" refs and their BS pre-filled scorecards.

                • Canelo needs to get back to boxing. He's been too reliant on his chin and his power lately- he became great by slipping punches and using head movement to do work on the inside. He fights more like Wilder now, just waiting for that one big punch. Problem is, he doesnt have the relative length to land that punch.

                  • Don’t understand why this was an upset, Bivol was a stylistic nightmare for canelo. Too big and too skilled. Called it long ago. Hilarious that they tried to rob Bivol… 115-113, what a joke

You and I are watching different fights it seems. I have Bivol up 5-1, Alvarez only took rd 2 and not by much.
