It just shows the lengths they will go to to protect Alvarez from losing

      Well done on the money
100%. People forget he was in with and embarrassed Joe Smith Jr.. Joe Smith Jr. hits way harder than Canelo.

I just don't see the marketing angel.

        • Wow! This is unbelievable! It's a case of another cherry pick gone bad! I must admit that I was more than a little stunned and amazed about what I just witnessed here tonight. Canelo was not only beaten but he was also beaten up. I really got this pick wrong!

I badly underestimated Canelo's opponent tonight and so did Canelo. This was a fight that he bit off more than he can chew and did not need. In any case, congratulations to Dmitry Bivol I thought his performance was nothing short of magnificent and marvelous.

So therefore, I tip my hat to him on a job well done!

It’s not a cherry pick though. He’s a belt holder and anyone who watched bivol knew he wasn’t easy pickings.

I think the Canelo profile and his hitherto dominance has made every upcoming opp look like a ready made victim

            • The most important thing here is that Hopkins looks like a complete moron once again

This is Hearn we’re talking about. Have you never been sold a used, faulty car by Hearn before? I have, and the way he hyped it up beforehand made my broken spine much more palatable

Proceed to big fight with a boxer who don't buy the hype nor cares about the specatcle .... lose spectacularly. All the while hearn is barking and singing abot the "greatest ever this & that" .... while simultaneously talking about the money his foil is making. Then BOOM ... reality hits ... a real fighter (opponent) does an expose. hearn is great for the wallet but a catastrophe on a legacy and on a fighter staying grounded in his craft.
And this fella has always been the franchise fighter for dayzin. Someone needs to find Eddie Hearn who is bound to fall into deep depression

Bivol proved me wrong, thought he was too Slow and Flat Footed but damn I thought he put on a Master Class. Kinda Ironic that it looked a lot like Shakur vs Valdez a week ago, seems like the Blueprint is out on Reynoso training style. I see it tonight, Bivol is the man at 175, look forward to see HIM be the one to fight the winner of Beterbiev vs Smith for the big Unification

As for Canleo, still one of the best P4P but 168 is his Max, he has to find out the hard way but I still respect that fact that he took that Risk

We have Weight Classes for a Reason! Now we can get back to fighters actually stick to them after this hopefully!
Fair play to you and all the guys coming in and conceding

                      I can't say that I have

31 year old Nelo willing to take chances.
A 3rd fight with GGGeezer, who has fought no one worth talking about, just doesn't do it for me.
