Good win by Bivol I had it 9-3 Canelo just wasn't big enough his punches didn't seem to faze Bivol who I knew had a decent chin based off the Smith fight but thought Canelo would catch him and he did but they had no effect. No point for a rematch though I want to see the winner of Smith and Beterbiev vs Bivol.

It's insulting for you to call this a cherrypick. Bivol was going to be a tough opponent from the start.

Canelo took a risk and he got beat. He deserves huge credit for challenging himself, it's what we claim we want more fighters to do.

You are right. I understand what you are saying. By no means was Bivol a cherry picked opponent. The man knows how to fight.

However, many boxing fans had also believed as I believed and that is Canelo would eventually break Bivol down later in the fight and stopping him due to his resume and vast championship experience.

I don't fancy any of the promoters out there, but in all fairness Matchroom / DZAN is not as corrupt others. Joshua lost to Usyk in London, and now Canelo lost to Bivol in Vegas. I think Hearn just tried to put up some good fights and not much into creating legacy fighter. 115-113 sucks, but if you compare to Wilder got a draw in first fight vs Fury, this one is still acceptable. Bivol was just to good , speed , defence , combinations , distance and I don’t think he even stepped on the gas.....if canelo takes the rematch its possibly we might even see him get stopped.

Also with canelo can be very predictable, does the same thing over and over again , short burst , hooks to the arms and some uppercuts and there is no variation to his work.

with bivol he took the play away every time canelo tried land his big power punches.

i agree. While I’m surprised Bivol actually won, going in the fight was actually winnable. Canelo wanted to reign at 175 and only had 1 realistic option at the time. He tried. He failed. No shame.
