Since this is a race thread- Canelo, the best Mexican and the best white boxer ever, gets shutout by Floyd, not the greatest black boxer ever.

    Ok cool.

Maybe if he unifies against Beterbiev afterwords. A Bivol win will probably have him at Willie Pep level, imo.

Maybe a handful of those 55 wins were vs legit guys ?

All of those 100+ win guys padded their records

But how did these Hall of Famers look? Do you have footage of them? Do you have footage of these fights? Arturo Gatti and Barry McGuigan are Hall of Famers.

The limited footage there is of Harry Greb, this guy fights like Ben Askren and the worst punches Deontay Wilder throws.

I can not believe a guy who fights like that had real stiff opposition. It’s laughable. The guy fights with chin hanging in the air, moves his head back while exchanging punches, and has the fighting stance of Scrappy from Scooby Doo.

Just a bunch overrated skill-less Neanderthals. When you see some of their footage you realize why there are no more great white American fighters anymore. How the hell are they going to survive with such atrocious skills? The Pittsburgh Windmill? That would be used to insult fighters skills nowadays. Windmilling was a badge of honor back in their day

Neanderthals in the 20th Century Only off by about 100,000 years (give or take). I know you're not serious about that but that's still funny.

What's your thoughts on Gene Tunney? Looks quite slick, skilled and talented from the footage available I would say.

It is no wonder “great” white American fighters aren’t a thing anymore in boxing. They are a thing of the past for a reason. I still remember how I burst out laughing at Snoop Dogg’s commentary of Ben Askren’s boxing style
You don't become a professional boxer unless you grew up in bad violent conditions. All of the good "white" fighters in the world today are either delinquent kids from England it seems or people who grew up in war zones in east Europe.

Do they even have boxing gyms in suburban America? I've never seen them.

Is Canelo white or Mexican? Or is he black and Mexican?

Is Rocky Mariano white or Italian American? Or tan and America?

What about someone with white skin in Africa?

None of this makes any sense to me anymore.
