Harry Greb is the problem. He is arguably GOAT in terms of resume alongside SRR. But, he never filmed.

This guy was called a Windmill as a compliment.

Today that is used by fans to ridicule boxers.

That tells you all you need to know about the styles of those times.

The authors of those times can’t be trusted. A motherfcker could be in there looking like Ben Askren and a writer hypes him up as being so out of this world legendary.

Boxers of the past get a pass for being skill-less. In those years you can fight like Ben Askren and Deontay Wilder and get called “amazing”.

Today if you box like Harry Greb or Gene Tunney, you will lose to some youtube celebrity in embarrassing fashion.

Where are the Greb’s, Tunney’s and Dempsey’s today? Once boxing became international, you do not see American boxers like them anymore. Tommy Morrison, Kelly Pavlik, Caleb Plant, Butterbean, Angel Manfredy? Boxing became international. Their opposition is no longer themselves.

I mean their biggest feat was Paul Spadafora getting the better of an out of shape Mayweather Jr in a sparring match.

Different times, no calcified water, no seed oils, lots of sun. Men were built different then. Ever read reports on WW1 ?

Greb fought 16 HOFs and beat 13 of them. He beat much bigger fighters than himself. He fought in different era, so he might be primitive in today's standards. But no one could reach his achievements because he was the best of his era. He could still be competitive today with modern trainings, trainers, PEDs etc.. Talent is permanent.

Greb won 25 fights in 1925
                  ''Only'' 14 in 1924
                  Another 16 in 1923

It goes on like this throughout his career.
Maybe a handful of those 55 wins were vs legit guys ?

All of those 100+ win guys padded their records

                      - - Lower order Monkeys on a boxing forum ain't qualified to talk about race.

I doubt Canelo self identifies as white, but most assuredly identifies as Mexican sorta like Andy Ruiz whom U Monkeys would call a white American.
