It's a question, and in fact with CubanNYC's answer, it actually looks like infact it is a good number. So what exactly are you talking about?

Are you one of those woke guys opposed to questions?

Also, I'm not particularly fond of women's boxing, no. I'm entitled to that. I'm not obliged to be a fan of women's boxing. I much prefer the women fights in the UFC, despite not being the biggest fan of those over there either.

That said, Taylor-Serrano was good, I watched it while I was waiting for Shakur and I enjoyed it. I'll definitely tune in for Shields-Marshall too.

Watched a few Rachel Ball fights after she beat Courtney aswell because I like her story.

I'm sure I'll watch more in the future.

Ah ok just checking in on my fellow boxing mate is all. Repeated patters are a concern in my field of work so I was going to offer a number if my su****ions were correct. There is help for that kind of stuff and they’re a lot more discreet than the days of old. Since that’s not the case then I’ll drop the subject.

Cheers. And have a good weekend.

But yes, we agree. 1.5 million WORLDWIDE is not that good of a number.
The world is a big place but dazn as far as i can see only have about 8 mil out that 7.5 billion people so worldwide is smaller than we think plus a lot of those people watch soccer on dazn as it makes up the majority of its top figures so 1.5 mil out of that pot is very good on the surface anyway, go find the exact figures for nelo kov & joshua ruiz on dazn and we will have a full answer

You asked if it was a good number. I showed you how you could find out.

Should have known though that this was actually about Eddie Hearn

You said I shouldn't be comparing men's fights to women's fights.

I'm only doing that because Eddie Hearn said it was a bigger fight than Shakur-Valdez.

I don't really understand the negativity towards womens boxing. Granted I've only started watching in the last few years, but I've enjoyed many women's fights. Now they are getting the exposure its easier to follow the rankings, the rivalries, and to be honest, I see two fighters trying to solve the problem in front of them, the same as mens.

I think it was. It did similar numbers on a lesser platform and a bigger live gate in an iconic arena. It also got much more attention on the printed press the following day.

It did 1.35 Million in America alone so I don't think so.

correct me if im wrong here but is espn not in like 80 million homes in america which gives it a huge audience potentially, the question u are asking then is that if the womens were on espn how much would they do or if both were on dazn maybe

We knew which networks they were both on beforehand right?

Wasn't Hearn's reasoning for it being so much bigger is that the main steam media has picked it up?

So I'm unsure why that matters.

I've never seen the numbers be put into a "World Wide" category like DAZN/Eddie Hearn have done with Taylor-Serrano.

Shakur Stevenson-Oscar Valdez on the same night did 1.35 Million in America.

So is 1.5 Worldwide a good number? Hearn's acting like it is on Social Media
Great thread... Truly!! there is no context for some of these numbers lol! Its not like where you have a bar and someone can ask you "what % of each pint you sell is profit? and how does that compare to the industry profit %?"
