Compare the numbers for this fight with other womens fights (instead of the mens fights) and you'll have your answer.

I would do it myself but I don't care.

As an example, Canelo Álvarez versus Danny Jacobs did 1.2 million viewers worldwide (Forbes). That’s just one fight, but it featured a superstar name. In light of that, I would say the Taylor-Serrano numbers are excellent. As it is, their clash set the outright record for viewers of a women’s boxing match. By any metric, the fight was a smashing success. Hell, on an anecdotal note, the fact that I’m even discussing any of this says a lot. I never cared at all for women’s boxing. Lol
Canelo-Jacobs did 1.2 Million on Dazn? Wow. Then 1.5 must be a good number.

I'm very suprised by that number for Canelo. I never really got to grips with these viewership things in all honesty.

I'm in the same boat as you. Not a fan of womens boxing, even though I do watch more now and will tune in for Shields-Marshall.

Because Eddie Hearn was saying it's a bigger fight than Stevenson-Valdez, that's why.

He made the comparison not me.

I've never seen the numbers be put into a "World Wide" category like DAZN/Eddie Hearn have done with Taylor-Serrano.

Shakur Stevenson-Oscar Valdez on the same night did 1.35 Million in America.

So is 1.5 Worldwide a good number? Hearn's acting like it is on Social Media
          No.

1.5 million PPV sales is considered very good, but those are just the total numbers for America. If you factor in worldwide figures then this should be higher.

I know 1.5 Million PPV sales is good That goes without saying.

This fight wasn't PPV though and the 1.5 is a worldwide number, not just for America.

Honest question, were you abused by a female in your younger days? You’ve been on one helluva anti-women’s boxing tear lately.

It wasn't PPV but people stay had to pay for DAZN.

But yes, we agree. 1.5 million WORLDWIDE is not that good of a number.

What was Stevenson-Valdez’s overall numbers? Does it matter if I got 10 people from a single house, as opposed to 10 people from the neighbourhood?

I’d imagine worldwide eyes can hook more fans though.

Yes mate I was touched by the nurses at age 15, consensually.

It's a question, and in fact with CubanNYC's answer, it actually looks like infact it is a good number. So what exactly are you talking about?

Are you one of those woke guys opposed to questions?

Also, I'm not particularly fond of women's boxing, no. I'm entitled to that. I'm not obliged to be a fan of women's boxing. I much prefer the women fights in the UFC, despite not being the biggest fan of those over there either.

That said, Taylor-Serrano was good, I watched it while I was waiting for Shakur and I enjoyed it. I'll definitely tune in for Shields-Marshall too.

Watched a few Rachel Ball fights after she beat Courtney aswell because I like her story.

I'm sure I'll watch more in the future.

In comparison though Canelo-Jacobs did 1.2 Million worldwide.

So maybe it's not as bad as I thought.
