Dana is being a crybaby because boxing is getting bigger all the time, his fighters are complaining about their meager salaries compared to what boxers of a similar level are earning while Uncle Whyte Pennybags makes more than the fighters who risk their lives in the octagon while he cashes in on his monopoly. Dana is an embarrassment for criticizing boxing for not been financial viable in his opinion while boxing cards are selling out huge venues, promoters are making solid money all the while paying the boxers large purses for solid matchups at the highest level. I wish he would just go away. His voice is annoying, his face is annoying and he's just another money grubbing clown who is a plague on contact sports.

Boxers do as they are told. There is no real "payscale" for a profession where your years are limited, and where there are no guarantees of anything. The problem lies in a market set up where so many people are grabbing the money. Promoters are not needed. Let fighters work with people like the Paul Brothers and promote their own interests. Fans can then pay what they want, it can go into a securitized escrow account, held until the fight takes place... This is an efficient market where we can know what a fighter is worth.

For example, lets have Bud and spentz scream and throw dog turds at each other behind cages. Have them threaten each other, swear oaths, Like DAvid Haye and Chisora did!!! then let this all go on social media. let things spread, marinate... who needs a promoter! And then fans will tell us what the fight is worth.

He’s not wrong here, many boxers today are indeed overpaid. Boxing is literally where it is because fighters demand the most for mediocre matchups.

Yet the first four months of this year saw a lot of great matchups. You people will complain about boxing regardless of what happens.
If people are willing to pay for PPVs and tickets that bring in a lot of revenue, the boxers get the majority of it. How else should it work? Would you rather the promoters in boxing get the bulk of the money like Dana does? Are you more a fan of the fighters or the promoters?
Maybe you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth or were given ownership of a company and didn't have to work with it, then I would understand your stance of wanting the fighters to make less money. If the fighters make less money, the promoters and commission staff involved make more money. That sounds like a Reagen wet dream where the corporations and owners of the world hold their clients in financial bondage. The world is already being controlled by large corporations. As corrupt as boxing is, at least the fighters are getting well compensated for putting their lives on the line instead of in the UFC where "Plantation White Man" pays his ****** whatever he deems suitable.

Yeah really. Even Roy Jones Promotions with his meager stable of fighters is no longer on UFC fight pass. Dana is a joke to the bulk of the boxing world. He should just keep his mouth shut about boxing. He is a scourge on mankind like his white power bro Joe Rogen.

People who complain that boxing is dying and not enough good fights are happening will quickly jump on Dana for his comments, but the pay boxers get, and I'm talking about the cream of the crop, is why they don't see any need in fighting more than once a year or taking risks. And UFC fighters are not underpaid in the slightest; another silly myth that spread because some UFC fighters tried copying Boxing divas. They are paid reasonably well and I absolutely love the fact that entertainment still dictates how popular and wealthy a fighter becomes - every UFC fighter KNOWS they have to give the fans a fight.

Do you know how much Dana makes per UFC event? Do you think he deserves more money than the actual fighters? I'm tired of all these greasy corporate clowns who think boxers should get paid less than the frigging promoters, absolutely laughable. As someone already noted, if the boxers were overpaid, the promoters would shut down. This obviously isn't the case because they are doing very well for big events even with the boxers getting the lion's share of the gross.

Do YOU got something better to do? I can critique because they getting paid MILLIONS and still show up SAAAAAAFT like butter. Thats what you call lack of effort, thats what you call being bad at your job. Once you get to a certain level in the sport of boxing, you can just show up and get paid, and just to make sure you dont think im ****tin on JUST boxing, take a look at Conor Mcgregor in his last few fights, he just showed up and got FOOKED, he showed up cause hes a big draw, got paid for nothing. Throw me in there i'll get my leg snapped or KOd for 20million no problem.

I already know they are on the juice, as are all boxers as well. EVERYONE in top level of ANY sport is on roids. Its just that yall MMA / boxing /whatever sport fans refuse to believe it, that your favorite athlete(s) is in fact on performance enhancing DRUUUGS brotha. Yeah, he is on them.

Uncle dana should also consider fact that both boxers and cage fighters literally risking their lives and integrity to earn that bread I do get his 'business model 'point obviously all 750 fighters roster can't make millions per fight but at least top guys should considering how much Ufc generates in gate,tv rights,.merch all that revenue,cage fighters deserve better
