No doubt, of the two, Serrano is the puncher. Taylor needs to get in and get the hell out. She didn't do that in the 4th and 5th and it nearly ended her evening early.

Yes, it's true, Taylor punches like a girl, so does Shields but it turns out you can still win if you land enough weak punches.

I feel that I substantiated my argument, that all prerequisites according to the four-score-criterion to rule round 5 of Taylor-Serrano a 10-8 round in favor of Amanda, were met.

If I am dishonest and you oppose my views, prove it. I am the one that put his head on the chopping-block, I think we know why everyone prefers to insult me instead of laying their cards on the table.

“Sorry-ass punching technique”? Taylor looked pretty good to me. She just doesn’t punch especially hard. One look at her record would give you a hint. Serrano is clearly the harder puncher, but so what? I haven’t had a chance to watch the full fight, just some highlights, so I can’t comment on the winner. But from what I’ve seen so far — as usual — too many guys don’t understand how boxing is scored. A harder punch doesn’t necessarily count any more than a lighter punch. And winning a round big often doesn’t get you more points (10-9) than just eking it out. People have pointed out the fifth assault as being a 10-8 round for Amanda. I’m not so sure about that. Very subjective. I could see the argument either way. These athletes put women’s boxing on the map. They’ve even got me talking about it, and I never cared before. Kudos to them.
