He is just as much of a challenge as Callum Smith, Avni Yildirim, Billy Joe Saunders and Caleb Planet were. So my answer is no. Bivol isn’t a challenge to Alvarez. As a matter of fact, None of those opponents ever presented any serious threat to him or otherwise, he would have never fought them. Just like he didn’t fight Charlo, Andrade and David Benavidez.

It is just my opinion that they are more experienced than him. I mean more professional ring experience. Who are some of the notable names on Bivol’s resume? I am not saying he is not a good fighter either. I just believe that the fighters I mentioned are just better

A fight with Charlo or Benavidez might be more fireworks but Bivol has more amateur pedigree, and as a professional, his wins over Barrera, Joe Smith, and Pascal leads me to believe he’s the more experienced professional
1) They are all highly skilled 2) They are all American 3) They are all undefeated and 4) They are all champions; Including David Benavidez because he has only lost his title on the scales.
What has number 2 got to do with anything? Does being American make them better Boxers?
