Get your facts straight. Benevidez lost his title in summer of 2020. During that time Canelo was still on his original DAZN deal.
Haymon wasn’t sending him to DAZN to lose that title.
Then Canelo sued to get out of his deal. He never said he didn’t have a problem with a multi fight deal as long as it was on his terms. He did the Smith fight on a one fight deal then the Ydirim/BJS fight in a 2 fight deal. Then he made a one fight deal with Haymon to get the last title. If Benevidez didn’t eat his way out of his strap that would have been his payday.
Benevides, and your ***** ass, are crying about not getting the fight when it’s all his fault. Now he has nothing to offer and Canelo has other, better, options.
Haymon offered him a big deal, DAZN offered him more. Maybe he should be mad at his promoter for not coming correct to get him what he wants.

Canelo got out of his deal in November of 2020, pbc offered him a better financial deal and he declined and went back to the same people he was suing and took less money. Now more recently, pbc offered Canelo a bigger money deal per fight and it’s not even close. 100 mil guaranteed plus a Ppv upside is a much better deal than what dazn offered. Canelo’s Ppv’s that are successful get him in the 30 mil range. His dazn numbers don’t get him that. Do the math if you’re smart enough , but I’m sure you’re either too dumb to figure it out or as I said, just full of excuses.

Why do people still use that yildirim argument? It was a stay busy/get the mandatory out of the way fight.
he fought 4 times in a span of 12 months and fought 3 champions. No one else does that.
most of his competitors fight once in a year and need to have a tune up every other year lol.

Yildrim and Benavidez were supposed to fight and Benavidez even said it would be a good fight. Trying post screen shot but can't easy to google though.

Eddie Hearn, promoter for WBA super middleweight champion Callum Smith, recently sent a letter to the WBC, with a request to order a mandatory fight with Benavidez.

Once again, let's go back to what Canelo said. Fight someone and then go after Canelo. These top super middleweights want the golden ticket but want to protect themselves on their way to that ticket. Canelo's busy. He's got Bivol and potentially GGG in the Fall. Benavidez has plenty of time to fight another big name in the divison.

you just need to have basic knowledge of the sport. First we all know he was offered 100 mil guarantee for 2 fights with pbc and 85 mil for 2 with dazn. Then dazn added a third fight for a max of 160 mil. Now There’s guaranteed money and then there’s Ppv cuts. Just do a little research and see how much extra money Canelo was paid on top of his guarantee for his successful Ppv events and figure it out. For example, he made an additional 35 mil vs ggg just in Ppv cut. Take into consideration his regular Ppv buys (bought via cable company) do much better than any of his dazn numbers because dazn is not as good at promoting and not everyone (especially the older generation) is willing to pay for and use an app. So 100 mil plus Ppv cuts for 2 fights could get him in that 160 range while the 3 fight dazn deal is worth “up to 160 mil” meaning it won’t exceed 160. So overall, canelo would be making more per fight with pbc and possibly could be in the same 160 range for just 2 fights if the Ppv fights do well. And let’s be real, if he did 800k vs plant on regular Ppv with pbc, isn’t it safe to believe he’d do better numbers vs Charlo and Benavidez?

Think about that, he’s going to risk Benavidez making a career high payday against the biggest moneymaker in boxing so that he could save him to make a bunch of lesser fights? Think about that for a second. (If you’re capable of sane thought). The concept is to make money, so he’s going to pass up on the biggest money fight he can make for his fighter because he wanted him to keep his wbc belt?
