Had Ruiz defeated A.J a second time the forum would have stuck to its original thoughts that Ruiz was to big for A.J , most were saying he’s got the fight after the weigh in and many had to backtrack on here because A.J out boxed him where posters were boasting he couldn’t do it .
I’ve never seen unmotivated Ruiz or Ortiz show up . I think both guys most likely over train ,in Ortiz case he probably needs to back it up a bit slow down the intensity at his age and Ruiz weight loss last fight didn’t go over so good . You can frustrate Ruiz much easier getting him to rush shots more but Ortiz is more susceptible to being stopped. I’d take Ruiz even though he tried getting out of it multiple times which is a red flag . I don’t see a reason why Ruiz wouldn’t think he could win ?REDEEMER likes this.

Besides, Andy Ruiz did not fight off the front foot against Arreola after being dropped by him. He boxed off the back foot in order to coast to victory in that fight.
So if Ruiz does decide to get in a firefight with 'King Kong' then he would do so at his own peril. Remember when Luis was getting his ass handed to him by Charles Martin what bailed him out was his power.
