Offered the fight to king king ortiz…crickets from his trainer. Apparently it was all a scam by haymon to get ruiz to steal the triller gaurantee he’s already been paid. 7 figures. Ruiz will get beat up vs kong. He’s not in shape and already looks worse with reynoso

Lol @ the Spong fight being cancelled. Not that it should have ever been booked in the first place.

        Triller is a joke.

Fat Andy was the one who ruined AJ psychologically, if anything. He gave the big-punching Adonis PTSD lmao.

But he has no discipline and already achieved his goal of becoming world champion.

Thus his repeated attempts to duck old man Ortiz who is still high risk, low reward. A southpaw with legitimate KO power and good counterpunching is extremely rare at HW.

They both suck. Ortiz looked like a complete sh.it fighting Martin and Ruiz looked bad against Arreola and now he wanted to fight Spong.

But this is why it will be a great fight, because we have 2 guys at the same level.

I mean.... that is logic hard to argue with.

One of these men lives to get future paydays and one becomes a sideshow gate keeper. To me, it boils down to Ruiz. An in shape Ruiz wins this going away. He is quicker with way more tools in his war chest than Ortiz has at this stage. But Ortiz WILL come in at the best shape he can be. Ortiz will train hard. So if Ruiz is just coasting and is not in love with boxing anymore, I bet Ortiz scores a couple of knockdowns and gets the win.

In shape Ruiz: Easy UD, possible KO in the championship rounds.

Out of shape, unmotivated Ruiz: Ortiz drops and stops him prior to the late rounds.

Posters are just going to randomly choose what shape Ruiz is in . The fact is he performs better at a heavier weight , one of his older trainers said this years ago . Ruiz is also one of the hardest workers in the gym you can see it in the vids on you tube even Klitschko said he was the hardest worker and was a future champion years ago .

Had Ruiz defeated A.J a second time the forum would have stuck to its original thoughts that Ruiz was to big for A.J , most were saying he’s got the fight after the weigh in and many had to backtrack on here because A.J out boxed him where posters were boasting he couldn’t do it .

I’ve never seen unmotivated Ruiz or Ortiz show up . I think both guys most likely over train ,in Ortiz case he probably needs to back it up a bit slow down the intensity at his age and Ruiz weight loss last fight didn’t go over so good . You can frustrate Ruiz much easier getting him to rush shots more but Ortiz is more susceptible to being stopped. I’d take Ruiz even though he tried getting out of it multiple times which is a red flag . I don’t see a reason why Ruiz wouldn’t think he could win ?

Triller should just partner with the mortal remains of Don King. Announcements for trash fights that are walked back 24 hours later is so on brand

Then that would be like Michael Moorer standing in front of old man George Foreman trading and exchanging power punches with him because power is all that old man Ortiz has left.

Besides, Andy Ruiz did not fight off the front foot against Arreola after being dropped by him. He boxed off the back foot in order to coast to victory in that fight.

So if Ruiz does decide to get in a firefight with 'King Kong' then he would do so at his own peril. Remember when Luis was getting his ass handed to him by Charles Martin what bailed him out was his power.
