Boxing is just bigger in the UK. It is also running hot having had some really good events of late.
Indeed. I think most of the criticism is coming from Americans who only understand their market. Whyte wouldn't sell in the States, so they think he mustn't be a draw anywhere else either and obviously Fury is a name over there. They might have a point if the money was coming from America. But it's not and Fury vs pretty much anybody except AJ, Whyte or possibly Usyk isn't a stadium fight in the UK either. The domestic rivalry is what's selling the fight. Brits love a big fight between British rivals that detest each other.
