That’s your response? Even after giving you researched proof.
Do you even understand why people flock to the US? How it all started and how it continues to be that way?

Sideshows can be popular as well but not for the right reasons.
There is nothing special about Fury.
He just happens to usually be the taller guy in an abysmal era.

You're trying to make it sound like Americans have more discerning tastes or have better **** to do, which is laughable and just comes across like salty cope tbh. As a boxing fan why not just be happy that theres still a market out there where boxing (a so called dying sport) can command that kind of attention?
Again, SOMEONE has to be ranked.
SOMEONE has to be a champ.
        Andy was a ''champ'' !!!
Bruce Seldon was a ''champ'' !!!

        Toss Fury in that group.

If a country considers Fury to be a good example of what a champ should be, so be it.
I just don't think you would consider him any good if he were an American.

If a person can find a better place, go there

          Easy

Anyway, Fury vs Whyte isn't a match up of 2 quality fighters.
It just so happens to be a rivalry of sorts.
I can guarantee the slopfest will commence practically after the opening rd.
Maybe one of them trips over their feet on the way to the ring

I just don't think you would consider him any good if he were an American.
I dont even like Fury very much, but most people consider him to be the best HW right now, many consider him to be the best of his generation, some might argue that head to head he has a case for being the best to emerge post-2000. I dont think hes an ATG or anything but hes no bum either. Then add to that that he has a colourful persona that has helped him build his star power.

Why would I not consider Fury to be as good if he was American? if the guy is the no1 HW hes the no1 HW wherever hes from. If there was a 6'9 white American guy who had that level of boxing ability for his size, was consensus no1 in the division and good at trash talking he'd be a major star there.

I wouldnt have any problem if Wilder/Ruiz filled a stadium in the US. Why the **** not? they might not be ATGs but thats a good fight that people would be invested in. Remember the biggest HW boxing match of the last 20 years in America involved washed up Iron Mike coming off years of fighting nobodies. It didnt matter because the casual audience were invested in him regardless.
