3 things Canelo has over Toney.

      1) Strength (not power)
      2) Better high guard defense
      3) Dedication

If it wasn't for these 3 it's a wash for Toney

Toney was more skilled. But his laziness never let him reach his full potential. Canelo is more dedicated to the sport no matter how his bank account look and still continues to improve.

Which Toney are we talking about?

The stuck in the mud 160 version who lost to Dave Tiberi?

The 168 version vs Roy Jones?

Or the 175 version vs Montiel Griffin?

Toney’s feet are slow and poor, the idea of his footwork even being on Canelo’s level is preposterous.

Ehhhh, who's to say tbh. The brotha was lazy, ate his way up and out to weight classes. Came into some fights like he barely trained.

Theres always an "if" with James; maybe he could've been even better if he had Canelos dedication? Who knows, it's all hypotheticals. I could be wrong, you could be wrong, we will never know lol

James barely hit the mitts or did any technical training, all he did was spar. Maybe he had more potential, maybe he didn't... James was one of those type of fighters; he was very bone headed and stubborn sadly

I didnt say it was funny as in i was contradicting it, it was funny as in amusing. Tony was a great fighter, not much more really need to be said. He proved his metal inside the ring.

Great fighter? Nah, don’t think so. Debatable at best.
