Kambasos did an EXCELLENT job of breaking down Teo. He did his homework and executed it to perfection. That said, I see Haney winning a decision if it has good judges. Haney Hasn’t fought an elite fighter yet. Shakur would whip him.
Haney is a problem for anyone he faces. He knows his weaknesses and uses his attributes to fight to his strengths.
He understands that power is not his best offensive weapon so he finds victory in other ways.
Don’t know if his chin can withstand a one hitta quitta. If his chin can take a “Shane type shot “ like Floyd or a “Mugabi type shot” like Hagler, then he may become the next top p4p boxer after Canelo and Usyk.
Haney is another fighter similar to guys like Andrade who likes giving it but hates taking it. They hit, then disengage, hold on for dear life, can't trade and fight on close quarters, then bend down on the waist so that the opponent can only hit the back of his head, which is illegal. In sum, it's a horrible style. You can be certain that fans would root for the opponent because of such ****** style. Just saw another guy with similar style in Conlan, who I immediately rooted against. Wood deservedly won the fight.
That's exactly where the hate comes from, his style.
I mean he's far from being a Broner, in comparison.

Linares looked horrible in that fight and still eventually found his chin (and we saw just how shot Linares was next time out against the scrub Abdullaev) and put him on dream street. He just didn't have anything left in the tank to finish the job.
I don't see Kambosos getting tired. I think he's going to break Haney down with constant pressure.
He has good boxing fundamentals and speed but has not real pop in his punches. Still he is at the top batch with the other fighters until it is proven otherwise.
Solid young fightEr. I thought people were too hard on him for her performance against Linares.
I think he and Stevenson have some similarity in that they’re absolutely blue chip prospects on the way to big things, but have really struggled to build their brand and become successful. The interest from the public doesn’t match the hype.
I wonder out loud if someone other than Haymon and maybe Golden Boy can build a black American fighter successfully in 2022.
