That’s cool, but If this were all that’s required the press conferences and interviews wouldn’t be a thing. Fighters that stay in the media are the fighter’s that catch eyes. A dude that shows up for 30mins before disappearing for months isn’t grabbing any attention unless he’s grabbing headlines in some way. You better be killing fighter’s or looking like the incredible hulk gor those youtube thumbnail pics.

Maybe when CGI gets so advanced that we can’t tell the difference the promoters can promote without the fighter.

You say he can’t draw in his own home state, yet did have 6 events in Nebraska that drew anywhere from 10,000 to over 13,000 fans to the arena. So if the promotors did their jobs and promoted and got him the fights that HE WANTED (since obviously pbc were the ones hiding their fighters from him and arum is on record admitting that he kept pac away from Crawford for fear that pac would get hurt) maybe he’d be in a better spot. So like I said, the promotors didn’t do their jobs.
And what were the live gates on those fights lol

Bud chose to sign with Arum and then resign with Top Tank even after he knew he couldn’t get the fights people wanted to see him in. That’s on him and him only. Losers make excuses and blame others when things don’t go their way.
Bud seemed just fine taking easy touch fights and losing Arum money for years.

Calling people racist is the province of the ********s. If you disagree with them you are automatically racist. Crawford don't listen to the Al Sharptons of the world--they are bad for America. Arum is a vile bigmouth Trump hater so I won't defend that old crow either. Crawford vs Spence to settle the controversy.

The only color that Bob Arum and other promoters see is green. If they can’t make money off of a fighter or market them properly then they become dispensable.

Crawfish is expert of using his own race to get attention. He is definition of being attention whore.

This is the part that bothers me. Promoters expect the fighters to fight for them and make them money but expect the fighter to do his own promotion. The fighters job is to prepare and come in the ring 100 percent ready to fight. The promoters job is to sell the fight and get as much money as possible for all parties involved. Arum has been in the business long enough to know that.
Have to disagree with you there, bro. This is a form of show business. A fighter needs to get out there some and show his face, talk some shit and gain some fans by way of his personality. Not just say, "You like the way I fight, pay me". Bud's only notable action outside the ring was when he strong armed an auto repair guy, took his car out of his shop and damaged the guy's lift in the process. You don't gain fans like that.

I get what you are saying and there is a lot of truth to it. It’s up to the promoter to sell the product not the boxer. His job is to prepare to do the fighting. Also, I kind of get what Bob Arum is saying too. If a fighter doesn’t make himself known to the public then it’s going to be quite difficult in trying to help sell his fights. That is what happened to Roberto Duran. While he was a great fighter with a crowd pleasing style but yet he refused to speak one lick of English and it hurt his career both financially and commercially. He never once attempted to connect with the American viewing audience.
