    Laughable.
Marciano is too far back but I dont think Fury would be on top in the 80s and definitely not the 90s, maybe not even the 00s with Vitali and a younger Wlad.

The main thing that changed about HW boxing is how big the fighters are and how roided they are, and thats been in effect for decades already.

Gonna have to happen in some fantasy future circle jack because it ain't got a chance of happening in this era.

I nearly spat my coffee out when I read the name Otto wallin in the mix.....grizzly needs to get back in his hibernation cave and let the big boys discuss boxing resumes.
fury is retiring after having one defence and that’s still not certain he wins.....what a goon this grizzly is lol

Only Lennox Lewis would be problem for Fury in 90s. Vitali would be problem for everyone with his awkward style and physical dimensions. I think only Lewis, Vitali and Holmes would have a chance against Fury prime vs prime. Fury would beat the rest clear.

Oh we're doing this thread again?

Fury has two big away title wins against long reigning champions. Joshua has more depth, fought his mandatories and went and unified titles.

What you like from that is what you like.

Compared to "against the least skilled champion in history and one who was dealing with all sorts of personal problems".

As I said, you can pick what you prefer out of the two but facts are facts.

Fury has the two very significant wins. Joshua has unifications, mandatories and the deeper resume.

PIck what you like. It's subjective. But arguing that either of them has no validity is just silly.

The sad part is, one of them, Wilder, was universally regarded as a one trick pony who only fought bums....BEFORE the fights
                  NOW he's all that.
