No coincidence the last 2 he boxed of his own generation both beat him xD

Well at least it would be a good confidence builder and boost for AJ if Luis Ortiz is as washed up and ruined as most boxing fans on NSB are purporting to be.

Like a few have already pointed out it seems to be real convenient timing

He’s had near 3 months to recover. I doubt he wants to fight Hrgovic for peanuts. At his age he is looking for a couple more retirement checks. He ain’t getting that fighting Hrgovic.,

This feels embarrassingly accurate. Wasting away his twilight years.

I still wouldn't be shocked to see Anthony Joshua settle on Ortiz.I don't really see the downside for Joshua. Ortiz is name enough you can Pump It Up, But unless Joshua shows up completely out of shape and Unprepared should win fairly easily and look good doing it. Ortiz gets a paycheck, Joshua will get to win. What's the downside here for anybody? I would watch. Bet even most the people complaining about it on these threads would watch. Ortiz is entertaining as a boxer. He would throw whatever is left in his body into it. It would be a fun little scrap while it lasted.

The Joshua boat has sailed long a time ago for Luis. Why would AJ pick you at this point in the game? Why not Wilder, Joyce, or even Wallin?

You had your chance and your greedy manager blew it. Is he regretting what he did to you and still hoping another similar opportunity would appear out of thin air? Good luck with that. Is he still trying to make up for the egregious blunder he did to you? Is he feeling guilty when he sees your kids?

Ortiz would be interesting vs aj. I think that would go to aj by ko, but ortiz would give him more troubles than pulev for sure.
